About Me
I live in North Shields with my 4 children. They are aged 12, 9, 6 and 3. i am a clinical psychologist and my husband is an engineer. i have looked after my children full time for their early years and beyond. we have been gentle parents and attachment and our children's happiness are important to us. We are an active and lively family. We are out most days in the community. My children all attend different groups and activities that they enjoy. They are all very chatty and playful. We have a dog and 3 cats and 4 guinea pigs in the garden.
My Requirements
I am returning to work one day a week as a clinical psychologist and need childcare for my 3.5 year old daughter from September. I am looking for a childminder who will be a good fit for our family. My daughter will need a gentle and sensitive settling in period in order to enable her to build a bond and feel safe with her childminder. she has done this with others looking after her but has had a couple of bad experiences with childcare providers where there has been an expectation for her to be left distressed when she doesn’t feel ready or have a bond yet with the childcare provider. an understanding of the importance of attachment and separation anxiety and a gentle approach is needed. She loves barbies and dolls, art, dancing, music, and play doh. Please get in touch if you can help. Thanks
