Childcare.co.uk offer £10,000,000 of free Public Liability insurance, underwritten by Markel International Insurance Company Limited, to all qualifying Babysitters that are gold members and who have opted-in to our scheme.

Free Babysitter Legal Expenses Cover

Members of our insurance scheme receive free Legal Expenses Cover and access to a 24 hour Legal Helpline.

Babysitters only benefit from Criminal defence, Childcare proceedings, tax protection and contract cover aspects of the Legal Expenses Cover plus access to the legal helpline.

The Legal Expenses Cover policy is underwritten, managed and administered by Markel International Insurance Company Limited.

Additional Terms & Conditions for Babysitters

• To qualify for the babysitter insurance your primary profile category must be a Babysitter.
• You must have have a clean enhanced DBS check.
• You must have had and are able to evidence appropriate training in health and safety, safeguarding and first aid.
• Babysitters benefit from £10m public liability cover. Babysitters will benefit from Criminal defence, Childcare proceedings, tax protection and contract cover aspects of the Legal Expenses Cover only plus access to the legal helpline. Babysitters will not benefit from professional indemnity cover, loss of revenue cover or suspension cover.

• Once you are covered under the policy, any changes to your Childcare.co.uk account that would disqualify you from the cover, will result in your cover immediately expiring. If your gold membership expires then your cover will immediately cease. When submitting your details to apply, you must provide your correct full name and full address. If you change your name or address you must let us know immediately. Applications with invalid or non-current names and addresses will not be valid and you will not be covered.
