I regret to say, If I could leave 0 stars for Mimi, I would. My child was at her daycare for approx 10 months, all was fine until I found out that she had an assistant working for her without an acceptable DBS check.
I had requested to see the assistants documents which is my right due to my child being in their care, and the next day I was told that we were no longer welcome and that a refund for the rest of the month would be given. I was unhappy but accepted the refund.... which never came!
Mimi then stated that the refund wasn’t coming due to a months notice being needed for leaving, even though it was her decision that we were no longer welcome at her daycare- just because I had questioned the qualifications of the assistant she randomly brought in. Thank goodness I did because they were not enhanced DBS checked which is a legal requirement when working directly with children:
