Had agreed to start today
Ingrid told me she would start a live in job at our house this morning. I cancelled my temp help and then she sent me an email, in the middle of the night, which I only read now, saying that she was not going to work for us. So I would be careful and I am sure she is fine but not sure how reliable she is until she starts actually working for you. She could have communicated to be on Sunday or Monday.

" It is true that I declined the live-in job. This is (only) because I received a better job offer. I did however notify zds as soon as possible, and not in the middle of the night. The 'better offer' that I accepted was from my current boss (for whom I am still working today). Do you want to know how reliable I (really) am? Do not hesitate to ask my current boss; I have worked for her for fully five years and she will very gladly supply you with a reference. "
