Asked for a massive deposit and then let me down right at the last minute via a text message! Would NOT recommend this woman.

I am very sorry that you feel that I have let you down, but for transparency sake, please allow me to clarify a few points. The retention of a deposit is a standard practice I apply with all the parents of children under my care. This deposit is then refunded at the end of the service contract. Unfortunately, we did not even get to sign a written contract, nor did we settle the deposit, because the days of service you requested changed drastically from what was originally discussed. The regretful outcome is that I could not provide childcare for the two and half hours weekly that you finally requested. I trust this clarifies matters.
