Hello, firstly I am a mummy to two gorgeous little boys, Freddie is coming up 6 and is in full time school and Arthur who is 3 and will be starting Pre-School from January 2024.
I am a dedicated nanny. I am a friendly, reliable, trustworthy, hardworking person who loves working with children. I enjoy going to the cinema, shopping, seeing friends and spending time with my family and loved ones in my spare time. I love to work with children to watch them grow and develop as independent child(ren) because no day is the same. I love to build strong bonds and relationships with the children in my care so that they feel comfortable and happy. That really is the most important thing for a child to strive.
I view childcare and the nanny profession to be challenging, exciting and most of all rewarding in so many ways. I love caring for children and find them fascinating, and I am seeking further nanny work to continue doing what I love and broadening my experience.
My Experience
I qualified as a practitioner in 2010, in Children's care, learning and development (BTEC Level 3) . I have 8 years of experience looking after children. The qualification included covering positive relationships for children, safe environments, promoting children's development, reflecting on professional practice, safeguarding children, promoting children's development and children's learning, activities and play.
From August 2009, I have worked in private day nurseries, within those job roles I have been a nursery nurse, a room leader and third in charge. I have worked with children from newborn - age 12. I work closely with the Early Years Foundation Stage and understand the EYFS very well. I promote a happy and stimulating environment for all children. I have also had nearly 7 years nanny experience and have loved every minute of it! I am currently working in a primary school as a HLTA and I love the job. However I need something else to work around my family.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified practitioner in Children's Care, Learning and Development, (Level 3 - BTEC National)
I’m currently not OFSTED REGISTERED but happy to do so
I have a safeguarding certificate
I have been on a course called every child's a talker
I also have a clean CRB
I have a full drivers licence and my own car
My Availability
I am mainly looking for a 2/3 day job, that if needed, I could bring my sons too (on the odd occassion, as in holidays, inset days etc).
