I am super passionate about working with children, I love the outdoors and being creative and learning and doing new things everyday.
I have always know I wanted to work which children since I was in year 10 so from then I have done everything I can to help my reach my goals. I started off by doing my work experience in a primary school and then going on to do childcare and development in college were I got DDD in btec, I have then gone on to do two years at edge hill university studying teaching, learning and child development, where I am now DBS checked, fully first aid trained for three years and have my safe guarding certificate.
My Experience
Along the way I h vane done all that I can to gain all the experience I can, and I would say it started at home as my younger brother has Asperger's so over the last 10 years I have learned my things to do with SEN, I then did 2 placements in college where I have done over 1000+ hours in Victoria road primary in the eyfs class room, and also did 1000+ plus at the park day nursery where at the end of this placement I was offered a job where I would become a key worker in the baby room I worked here from April 2015- august 2015 before I started at university. Why at university I have been a manager at a children's play centre.
My Qualifications
10 A*-C GCSEs ( including maths, English and science)
Level 3 in childcare and development
Duke of Edinburgh award
2:1 in my first year of BA honours teaching, learning and child development
