Cathy is a fantastic nanny

We were incredibly fortunate to have Cathy step in at short notice to help our two children (aged 1 and 7 at the time) when I had to return to work more quickly than anticipated. From the moment she arrived, her warm and caring nature was evident. She immediately formed a bond with our two children, the youngest of whom had not been looked after by anyone else. My somewhat stressful return to work was made much easier by knowing that Cathy was looking after them (she even did the settling in process at nursery for us).

Cathy blended into our family with remarkable ease. Cathy is exceptionally child-focused, always putting the needs and well-being of the children first.

Her reliability and dedication are second to none, consistently showing up on time and ready to engage. Beyond just being dependable, Cathy has a wonderful way of teaching children positive behavior and good manners through kindness and patience. She creates a fun and nurturing environment where our children feel loved, respected, and motivated to learn.

Our experience with Cathy has been overwhelmingly positive, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to any family in need of a fantastic nanny.

Cathy is our Mary Poppins!

I saw Cathy around school before we thought we needed someone and she was always so focused and attentive with the children in her care, so when I needed someone to help I was passed Cathy's number and thankfully the stars aligned and she was free.

I trust her completely with both my children and she is proactive in finding out what is going on in the area and organising playdates with other children. She gives 100% to her job and due to her experience and skills she knows how to deal with children and how to entertain them. My daughter being a Covid baby was apprehensive with new people but Cathy has helped her develop her social skills and bring her out of her shell. I have come home many a time to the kids and Cathy doing all sorts of role playing, board games, reading, or arts and crafts. She really has a lot of energy to give on a daily basis and will always put in everything she has.

I highly recommend Cathy to anyone. She is reliable, trustworthy and loved by the children.

Many thanks Selina for your review. It's been an absolute honour to look after the kids. Xixi's laughters are very infectious, we spend most of the day laughing which is magical. So glad that she has her own circle of friends she enjoys playing with rather than following her brother. It has been great witnessing all the progress. Enjoyed the kids conversations and challenges they have set for me. It's been a joyous journey and I will miss them dearly. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to look after them.

Dedicated, Kind and Thoughtful Nanny

Cathy came to look after our sons (then aged 4 and 2) two years ago, just after the lifting of Covid restrictions. It was a difficult time for our family with complicated house moves, disruptive building work and our eldest son struggling quite badly to settle at school. Cathy was a Godsend. A capable pair of hands who offered calm wisdom and put in the necessary time and attention to get to know the children, thinking creatively how best to cater to their needs. She jumped in with both feet and went on what was probably a tough journey with us, and proved pivotal in helping us to get to a more stable place where the children are calmer and happier and we can better enjoy our time as a family. She also has seemingly boundless energy, an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of and connections to local children's activities and clubs, and a great sense of fun. We are very sorry to see her go and couldn't recommend her more highly.

Highly highly recommended!

Cathy has looked after my two boys (3 and 5) on Mondays and Tuesdays for the last two years and has recently started looking after my two nephews as well (2 and 4). She is a fantastic nanny who is very reliable, dedicated and completely unflappable. She manages 4 small, energetic boys with ease and they all adore her. She is incredibly loving and totally committed to the children she looks after. We love the fact she is proactive and always takes the children out and about as well as arranges play dates and activities. She has unlimited energy and patience and will willingly play football, small world animal role play and superheroes for far longer than any of us can manage! She takes everything in her stride and has been involved in everything from potty training,
to bedtimes, dropping naps and starting school and nursery! We feel very lucky to have found Cathy and are so grateful that when our children are in her care we can completely relax knowing they couldn't be better looked after. We would highly recommend her!

Trustworthy, Reliable, Caring and Honest

Cathy is an exceptional nanny who goes above and beyond the duties of the role providing a truly caring and loving environment in which children can be themselves and develop naturally. Cathy strikes the right balance between meeting the children's needs (including educational and social), encouraging good manners and having lots of fun! Our sons (1-2yrs and 5-6yrs at the time) have benefited tremendously from their time with Cathy (and they loved her amazing cooking too!). We were fortunate enough to have Cathy as our nanny for the Wed- Fri share and cannot recommend her or this share more highly.

So lucky to have found her

As part of a nanny share with 3 other children, Cathy has been looking after our 2 year old all day and our 4 year old after school 3 days per week for almost a year. She has a very kind and loving relationship with the children, she treats them all as individuals and helps them to develop in a way appropriate to their age and personality. She keeps the youngsters busy with plenty of fun activities and copes effortlessly with the crowd of five after school and in the holidays. A really lovely and reliable lady. Very happy to have found her.

Brilliant!

Cathy has been our sole charge nanny for 2 days per week for our twin daughters for the past year.

Cathy is a tremendous nanny and I trust her completely. She is organised, reliable and makes looking after twins easy! My daughters absolutely love her. Cathy is genuinely interested in their development and manages to balance teaching 'right from wrong' with lots of warmth, positivity, fun and activities. She also has some great techniques for feeding on those difficult days. I have observed Cathy is always prepared, always on time and never takes the 'easy option' when managing the girls (like mum might every so often!).

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Cathy to future employers.

Comes highly recommended!

Cathy looks after our two kids with another family (total of four kids!) and is fantastic at it. She is totally reliable, dedicated, loving, conscientious, fun and committed. She takes them out every day without fail and has a brilliant grip on the local activities. She makes nutritious lunches and dinners every day and always has a smile. The kids adore her and we really cannot recommend her highly enough.

Thursday and Friday nanny

Cathy has been looking after my 2 and a half year old daughter since mid January and we've been really pleased with her. She's a very warm person and has been kind and gentle with our daughter. She cooks her tasty lunches, that are healthy and include lots of vegetables, and as we have asked, only gives her limited snacks involving fruit.
We live in a flat so it's important that our daughter goes outside - and Cathy is fantastic at taking her to local parks, playgrounds, libraries and our leisure centre to do soft play. She also took her to a local farm to look at the animals.
Cathy always tidies up and washes things after lunch, so I get home to a clean and tidy flat. It's been a great help having Cathy with us - we've been so lucky to have found her.

Fantastic Nanny - caring and fun

Cathy joined our family to look after our two very energetic kids - 3 years and 16 months -in September, three days a week. Our first Nanny experience we couldn't be happier!

A calm, caring and fun presence in the home, the kids excitedly welcome her arrival and fondly hug and wave her goodbye at the end of another day. What more could you ask!

Hope she stays with us for the years to come
