Hello, I'm Hazel.
I am a Level 4 qualified childcare professional with over 15 years of experience across nurseries, childminding, nannying, and now as a Forest School leader. I live in Chorley with my partner of 15 years, Andrew, and our son.
I’m a kind, loving, and energetic person with a deep passion for working with children of all ages. I consider it a true privilege to support their growth, development, and achievements.
My aim is to offer your child a nurturing, engaging, and friendly environment where they feel safe, relaxed, and valued. I tailor activities and outings around each child’s interests, ensuring they have fun and feel truly seen.
I provide high-quality, empathetic care that responds to your child’s individual needs—helping them build confidence and a sense of security.
As a strong advocate for outdoor play and nature connection, I run Hazelwood Forest School, a term-time and holiday provision for children aged 5 and up. My setting is inclusive and especially welcoming to children who may not thrive in traditional environments. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent children, including those with sensory processing differences.
In addition to my childcare experience, I’m confident around animals, enjoy preparing healthy meals, and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
