About Me
I am just leaving my current nanny position after three years as the lovely little boy and his two fabulous sisters that I have been looking after is going to school and, sadly, the family no longer need full time care.
My Experience
Two years learning disabilities nursing with children.
Three and a half years working with maladjusted children. ( a very outdated label I know)
Nine months with a lady with a brain tumour/weekends in a children's home with three young children.
Registered as a childminder and have worked as that in a greater or lesser degree for over 30 years
Whilst doing this have set up and run a social group for children with disabilities.
Worked as a home support worker with a child who needed ventilation, tracheostomy care and Oxygen therapy.
I then worked abroad as a nanny and Governess with high profile families and families of high net worth.
Worked in two homes for English families who have children of different ages. I am used to working with multiples of children of different ages, but would prefer to have two children.
All of my certificates are available to view along with my cv at interview.
I would like to have one afternoon off a week to continue a course of study that is already underway. This could not be Friday, but any other afternoon to suit.
I am not currently ofsted registered , but am happy to do that.

I am happy to provide all nursery duties and also to cook an evening meal for the family I would work for. I would always pitch in in a crisis, but I am a looking for a nanny position, not nanny/housekeeper position.

I am looking either for thirty six hours plus a week, or could do nanny share with two families and split my week between them.

Carol has worked as my nanny looking after my 3 children from the ages 1 to 10 to allow me to return to work as a doctor. She has been an enormous asset to our family and works to a very high standard. She is keen to encourage the children and works hard to give them great experiences. She is also a fabulous cook and takes real care to ensure the children are eatting healthy balanced meals. She is experienced and it shows! We are very sad to see her lose her but nolonger need full-time care.
