Sharon is wonderful, reliable, organised, and clearly cares about the well-being of the children in her charge. My daughter has been going to Sharon since she was 8 months old (now 16 months) and adores her! The children get to play together in Sharon’s inviting house and garden, they are also taken out every morning to various play centres/parks for fresh air, activities, and to socialise with other children, which is fantastic for their development. Sharon gives a very useful breakdown of my daughter’s day at pick up, including how she is getting on with potty training, her temperament, eating, and so on. I highly recommend Sharon as a trustworthy childminder.

Our son has been at Sharon's for three days a week from 9 months old until now, having just turned three. Her home is safe and welcoming, and our son immediately felt relaxed, comfortable and safe there and with Sharon, right from the first meeting (not the case at other places we had looked at before!), and was fully settled after just one day!
As well as Sharon's warmth and love of the children, and the safe and comfortable environement, there is also the hugely enriching element of being taken out to other activities with other children every day - whether it be making art at another playgroup, singing and dancing with 'Mark in the Park' or charging off to Chiswick for music and instruments or enjoying the local soft play, our son has got so much out of it, and his social development, confidence and love of artistic expression have really blossomed.
Sharon's also great at giving a quick daily run down at pick up time, ranging from food, toilet activity, what he's enjoyed and naps - so it allows us to know what to expect when we get home and keep track of how he's doing. She's also been great at providing him with positive routines - which have also helped us avoid some of the typical struggles with naps, dinner time etc.
Another benefit is that Sharon's place is in a private court with some shared space, so our boy has been able to meet other children and their parents in a safe environment, one of whom now helps to look after him from time to time when we need out of ours childcare.
The biggest positive I can say is that our son is happy and totally comfortable, despite other children leaving and new ones arriving in the time he's been there, and we simply haven't had any real headaches as parents when it comes to childcare. I really can't recommend Sharon highly enough, and our boy's departure to new adventures at pre-school is one that, while there is some sadness attached, we know he has been prepared to take in his stride.

Sharon is the best - caring, attentive and simply wonderful
We found Sharon back in October 2022 when I started returning to work. Our little girl Milli was 8 months old at the time and wearing a plagiocephaly helmet (which never presented any issues for Sharon).
Sharon was wonderful from the first day we met at her beautiful home which felt safe and clean - and I was instantly at ease when our little one started playing with Sharon’s necklace. We started working with Sharon for one day a week initially, which we increased to two/three days per week up until recently when we relocated to Australia.
What we love about Sharon:
As soon as the little ones arrive at Sharon’s they are greeted with the biggest smile, loads of positivity and enthusiasm. During the day Sharon takes them different play groups from ‘Mark in the Park’, to music and drawing adventures. Every day when we collect Milli she is happy and smiley, she comes home clean and we get a detailed summary of her day (it really helps knowing how long she has slept and what her favourite part of the day has been).
As a first time mum, working with Sharon has been nothing but wonderful and she is one of the most caring and attentive childminders I have met. Our family would 100% recommend her and we thank Sharon for all she has done for us - THANK YOU!
You are a rare gem and the little ones are so blessed to have you.

Our daughter had a great two years with Sharon from age 1 to 3. We always felt happy and secure dropping her off each morning as she was always happy to go in. We didnt have the same experience sending our older daughter to nursery so we knew how special this was. We recently left Sharon as we moved out of the area and our little one still talks fondly of her. If you are looking for a warm, safe and caring environment for your child with the chance to play with other children in the regular playgroups, Sharon is a fantastic choice. We feel very lucky we found her.

Highly recommend Sharon as a childminder. She has been brilliant with our first. The environment and care taken has been exactly what we were after. I think the clearest message I can say is that if we have a second, I will be calling Sharon to try and line up a spot. A great mix of at home care and external activities. Sharon was also very helpful in discussing the different stages of development and having a united front between home and childcare. Its been a lighter load knowing that our son is somewhere safe, nurturing and homely for his early years.

Sharon is wonderful! she's very creative, patient, caring and genuinely enjoys looking after kids. My daughter then 18 months old was traumatised by her experience (would vomit every time we got near the nursery) at Busy Bees. Not knowing what to do, a colleague recommended Sharon and from the first time I reached out to her, she was prompt with her responses and very professional. I am very grateful to Sharon as our daughter was settled and well looked after. It was great to see my daughter's confidence growing and interact with other kids. Sharon is a quick learner and was very open to understand my daughter's requirements and adapt accordingly. We can't thank Sharon enough for what she has done for our daughter. We are very happy to recommend Sharon!

Sharon looked after my son from 8 months old until he recently went to school this month. She has been amazing, most definitely the third parent! Sharon is a trustworthy, kind, experienced and happy childminder and not only did she nourish, stimulate and aide my sons development over the 3 and a half years he was with her, but she also enabled me to return to work with complete confidence that he was in safe hands. Over the years she has guided us effortlessly through the various stages, weening, naps, teething, dummies, potty training and wrap around care with nursery drop offs and collections. Sharon takes her children to various clubs and activities each week alongside her fellow childminders so the kids have a wonderful network of friendships and much stimulus from a variety of weekly activities. Our little munchkin has been with Sharon for 5 months and we are so happy we made the choice to send him to her. We had a personal recommendation from friends whose child was with Sharon for several years so that made the choice easy for us and we want to pay that forward. Following the recommendation we met with Sharon to find out more about her ethos/approach and so she could get to know us a little as well. Sharon approach aligned with ours however she is willing to adapt or discuss your wants. For example she was keen to engage with us about our sons eating and sleep routines to have continuity of care. As first time parents we were of course apprehensive about leaving our 8 month old son in someone else’s care however Sharon is the best choice we could have made- we have no regrets!
From the get go it’s been very easy to drop our son off in the morning as he has such a good time at Sharon’s- his face lights up when he sees her. From Australia and not having family close by we really appreciate the evening chats we have with Sharon where she fills us in on our son’s day and answers our questions on all things babies/toddlers such as sleeping and dealing with tantrums. This also ensures that our approaches align. Sharon has a great setup and nice homely environment with a yard which is exactly what we were after. In addition she takes him out most days for activities and to the park. She truly cares about each child and fosters their stepwise development with a personalised approach. She is always looking for ways to support our son’s next developmental step including doing EYFS reviews and providing feedback and toys/strategies to foster learning. It’s without reservations that we recommend Sharon!

Sharon has looked after our son for three years since he was 8 months old. We have been delighted with her care and the relationship we have with her. Our son adores spending time with Sharon, he is constantly stimulated visiting various clubs and mixing with other children. Her care, consideration and diligence is faultless. She is definitely the third parent and has helped enormously with various milestones, potty training, transition into school, naps, teething etc I whole heartedly recommend Sharon she has been invaluable to our family.

Our daughter started going to Sharon’s when she was 10 months old. We were apprehensive about
leaving our daughter at such a young age. However, Sharon has been absolutely brilliant not only
with our daughter but with us.
Sharon provides a wide range of activities and she takes the children to plenty of classes during the
day.
Every morning our daughter looks forward to going to see Sharon and the other children. It is so nice
to leave her every morning knowing that she enjoys her time with Sharon and other kids.
Sharon encourages polite behaviour, kindness and compassion to others. With Sharon’s support our
daughter is growing into a confident and self-assured little girl.
Sharon completes a diary everyday detailing what our daughter has done each day. From the diary I
have a complete picture of her whole day including what she has eaten, how long she has slept and
all her activities. This helps me feel involved with my daughter’s care when I am at work.
We will all miss Sharon dearly and we would absolutely recommend her as a great and reliable
childminder.

Our daughter loved Sharon from the first meeting. The warmth and confidence Sharon instantly showed, and the reciprocating grin from our daughter while Sharon held her in her arms, put us at ease leaving our precious 6-month-old girl. She is now two years old and has been thriving and developing beautifully under Sharon’s guidance and care. It can be difficult to know what the right decisions are for your children, but without a doubt choosing Sharon has been the best parenting decision we have made. The security and kindness Sharon gives the children feels like a close, loving family. She has helped us navigate the uncertainty of first-time parenthood and is a wealth of knowledge and support if you need it. She is extremely professional about her career and documents our daughter’s day in a notebook and often sends us photos of her having lots of fun. Sharon provides a consistent daily routine with lots of playgroups and planned activities together with developmentally appropriate toys, games and books. Our daughter is always thrilled to greet Sharon and the other kids every morning and she is soon lost in play. She will often bring her favourite ‘thing of the day’ in an important ritual to impress Sharon. We are extremely sad that our time with Sharon is coming to an end. We want to thank her for providing an environment, support and guidance that has allowed our daughter to become a confident, social and happy toddler. We cannot recommend her highly enough, she is amazing!

Sharon has been my daughter’s childminder for over three years and it was with a heavy heart that we had to leave her care as our daughter starts school in September.
My daughter was 11 months old when we needed full time childcare. After a horrendous experience with a local nursery, we tried to find a nanny, but were far from convinced by any of the candidates we talked to. We hadn’t even considered a childminder, but Sharon got in touch and in stark contrast to everyone else before, it was immediately obvious that we were talking to a person who understands and deeply cares for children. Settling in was incredibly smooth and without a single tear, and after a few days my daughter would greet Sharon with obvious joy. I didn't felt guilty once for leaving her in full time childcare, because I knew she was in the best possible hands and she truly enjoyed her time with Sharon. It always warmed my heart to see how affectionate and loving they were with each other.
Sharon has a wealth of experience through her own and a great number of children of various ages she has looked after over the years. She has a levelheaded and mature personality, able to deal with any crisis, but she is also a lot of fun and you might catch her squealing with delight when playing hide and seek with the children or chasing them through the garden.
The small number of children in Sharon’s care allow them to form very strong bonds and early friendships. Young children learn new skills from the older ones and older ones learn to be considerate and helpful. Sharon takes them out to playgroups every morning, where they get to sing, dance and create the most incredible artwork. Sharon’s garden is the perfect space for sunny afternoons, fully equipped with all sorts of vehicles and a paddling pool!
We are extremely glad we found Sharon three years ago, and I believe any child will thrive in Sharon’s care.

We found Sharon when we moved to Chiswick 8 months ago. The moment we met Sharon we knew instantly that our 15 month old daughter was going to be in the best and safest possible hands. We are first time parents and were nervous going from a full time nanny to a child carer, but from that initial meeting we were very quickly reassured. Choosing Sharon was the best decision we made. She has incredible experience and is a true professional. We could not have left my little girl in a more happy and secure environment than with Sharon who is one of life's gentle, loving and caring people.
Sharon clearly adores kids and is dedicated to what she does. Our little girl has loved every moment and chatters away all the time about Sharon this, Sharon that and the other kids she plays with. You can't ask for more than that.
Our daughter's development has also been great to watch. Everyday Sharon takes the kids to a kids club where they play with other kids, painting, dancing. singing etc. When not at a club they are home with Sharon playing with toys and creating. The home is a lovely safe environment and when the weather is nice they play outside in Sharon's garden.
We cannot thank Sharon enough for all she has done for us and our little girl and for the the positive affect she has had on our lives. We are moving overseas and will miss her greatly. Thank you Sharon.

I returned to work when my baby was just 6 months old. I'd initially planned for him to go to nursery but after a negative experience there, I decided I preferred a childminder to look after my son. I had a week to find someone and can't express how thankful I am to have found Sharon.
Her home is always spotless and welcoming, With a range of fun and educational indoor and outdoor toys, and the outside space is incredible. My son loves to run around in the garden and play in the paddling pool and the other cool toys she has there. I often hear him shrieking with joy as I'm walking to collect him at the end of the day. Sharon also provides a fresh healthy meal every day as well as snacks, and is super flexible.
Most importantly, however, I can see how much she loves and cares for my son (and how much he loves her). Our son has been with Sharon for just over a year now and is blossoming under her care. Sharon is warm and loving, but also firm (which appealed to me right away). She's got tons of experience having had 4 kids of her own and 20+ years of experience - as a first time mum, her advice and support have been invaluable.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sharon. She has been a godsend! I feel totally reassured Knowing that our child is safe and happy with her every day.

Time flies and our tiny baby will be off to school soon… no matter who she will meet on her way, it will take a lot to match the impact Sharon had and still has on her early wellbeing and sprouting personality.
At Sharon’s she found a loving home-from-home and first true friends. If you are lucky enough to get a rare glimpse into their day, before they hear you knocking on the door, you may overhear them squealing with delight in the paddling pool or chasing each other through the garden.
There is nothing more valuable than knowing your child is in good hands when you can’t be with them yourself, so we will always be grateful to Sharon for giving us this peace of mind.

It's so nice to see that our 1 year old little boy is genuinely pleased to see Sharon and opens his arms to go to her at every morning drop-off. She has a warm, clean and modern home, great garden, plenty of toys - and most importantly is kind, caring and really knowledgable and experienced with children and babies of all ages. When I collect him at the end of the day, he is always happy and smiling, and eats and sleeps well when he's there - what better indication that he feels totally safe and secure in her care. As a first time mum this has really made my transition back to work so much easier. We have complete trust and confidence in Sharon, and really couldn't imagine having found anyone better to look after him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends.

Most important things first; we would wholeheartedly recommend Sharon. We go to work with complete peace of mind every day, knowing that our child is in the best possible hands and will have a great time!
Our little girl has been with Sharon full time for almost a year now. She started when she was 11 month old, right after three horrendous weeks of trying to settle her into a local nursery. The nursery experience had left us all quite shaken and we were very worried about how she would cope with being left at Sharon’s. We couldn’t have imagined a better start! After a couple of days, our daughter was excited to see Sharon in the mornings and was usually off to play immediately without taking the time to say goodbye! It has been like that ever since and we are grateful every day that we met Sharon. Our daughter loves her and it’s such a joy for us to see that Sharon genuinely loves her back. We have made a few important decisions about changing jobs and moving country/house in the last year simply based on the fact that we do not want to lose Sharon.
A little less personal but still very important; Sharon takes the children to playgroups every morning, so they get out every day. They do all kinds of arts and crafts and it’s amazing what they bring home. Sharon has a massive garden on a quiet road and they go outside to play whenever it’s possible. She is extremely flexible and accommodating with sleeping schedules, food issues and any other hiccups on the way. Sharon’s other charges are lovely and a great mix of older and younger children. Our daughter names all her toys after her friends at Sharon’s.

My one year old daughter absolutely loves her days with Sharon. I returned to work when she was 8 months, and was very anxious about the end of my mat leave and leaving her with someone else, but thank god we found Sharon. She made my return to work very easy, from day one my daughter was so happy to be left with her and every time I drop her off she kicks her legs with excitement. Sharon is caring, loving, professional and very experienced. I continually feel lucky that we found her. I often ask her for advice and guidance as she has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to raising children! Her house is clean, warm and a fun environment , and the other children she cares for are also fantastic company and fun for my little girl to play with. It's been a couple of years since I last published a review about Sharon, and I thought it was important for other parents to know how great she is at providing continuing care as the children grow.
My son has been with her for nearly three years now. He adores her, and we have really noticed her fantastic influence on him.
She's been great at coaxing him into the 'big boy world' and has been fab helping him with the transition as he has started to go to nursery in the mornings.
He comes back to us full of chatter about the things he has done with Sharon, and the friendships he makes with her other charges.
Sharon's home is always very welcoming, full of creative toys etc, and she has a wonderful child-focussed safe garden that my son adores exploring and playing in.
On a personal level, Sharon has been utterly brilliant with us as parents. She is incredibly caring, and will really go out of her way to help us when she can with last minute cover and the like. I can't recommend her enough, and consider myself very lucky to have her as our childminder.

Sharon is simply fantastic, we highly recommend her.
Our son has been with her for nearly a year, and he loves it.
He's a quiet little boy, and she has really taken a great deal of care and time to help his confidence.
Sharon seems to get genuine pleasure from the accomplishments of her charges, and she really cares about every one of them.
She's great to deal with as a parent, and is always very positive and cheerful.
We totally trust her. I'm very happy to provide more details to anyone who may be interested.

Our son absolutely loves going to Sharon. He gets to interact and play with other kids as well as going to rhyme time and doing arts and crafts. He has been with Sharon for nearly a year now and I would highly recommend her. She is loving, kind and caring and our son just loves her so much! He gets so excited to see her when we drop him off, which is a huge relief.
The environment is always clean, tidy and fully prepared for kids of all ages to grow and learn with Sharon.
He also enjoys all the home cooked meals that Sharon prepares especially for the kids.

I found Sharon in the nick of time with only a few months left before my return to work and I am immensely glad that I did. Our son has been with her for the past year and a half and we are all very happy with the care he is receiving from Sharon.
Sharon began by making the potentially upsetting settling-in period as stress-free as possible and we really haven't looked back from there. She provides a wonderful home-from-home environment, with plenty of toys and books and a gorgeous garden that our son loves to play in when the sun does shine! I also particularly like the fact that Sharon takes our son to a playgroup and/or music group each morning so he is also learning to play within a larger group. To my mind this set-up provides a perfect balance of activity for him. I am also constantly delighted and impressed by the wide range of artwork that he brings home from there!
I also agree wholeheartedly with what the other parents have said about Sharon's advice and experience. The wealth of knowledge that she has from being a mum to four children is invaluable to a first-time mum and she gladly shares this.
Our son is thriving in Sharon's care and I would highly and happily recommend her.

Tess has been with Sharon for over a year. She has always always been VERY happy there. And she's not always easy which is a testament to Sharon's skill and experience. I've never had any anxiety about her while she's there because I know she's in the safest of hands and is thoroughly enjoying herself. She literally skips to her front door whenever it's time to go there!
Tess has also really benefitted from socialising with other kids, going to the playgroup with them all in the mornings and then spending the afternoon in Sharon's house playing, reading, cooking etc. etc.
Sharon is kind but firm so Tess's manners have been maintained whilst she's been there. And she's learnt masses of stuff that I probably wouldn't have thought of.
Agreed. She's a rock star.
