An exceptional Nanny (with us for 2 years)

Paige has been with us for nearly 2 years, looking after our 3 and 5 year old, 4 days a week, 8.30am-5.30pm. Due to circumstances regarding our work, we are unable to keep Paige on....otherwise we would have kept her for as long as we could. We are so sad that she is having to leave us.

Paige has cared for our two children with utter commitment and a heartfelt interest in their lives. She is endlessly patient, unfailingly positive (always inspiring to see when you have two toddlers in the fray) and always filled with imaginative stories and the energy to play-whether that means kicking a football or colouring in mermaids. Both my children ADORE her. It is wonderful to see them run to her when she arrives every morning, bursting with stories of important things that need to tell her. Paige is very good at understanding the emotional tenor of little children: she always notices when it is time to calm the mood down with stories and quiet play, or when it's time to burn off some energies with a scoot before tea time.

Paige is good at planning ahead for fun activities for the kids, taking them out for days to Wimpole and also trying to find friends for them to play with during the holidays etc. She's very conscientious about consulting me before trying anything new and I am always 100% aware of what they are doing (and how much fun they are always having). She listens well and always goes above and beyond if I ask her to prepare meals or run an errand. She never gives the impression that she wants to be somewhere else (even at 5,30pm!) which is a rare delight. There has never been a moment when I have not been glad that she has been part of our family.
