My Summary

My Experience

After I qualified I worked with a childminder for over three years, in those three years I cared for children from 3 months to 10 years.

In my time working with a childminder, I have gained experience in all aspects of childcare from, planning appropriate activities, dealing with emergency situations, cooking healthy meals, recognising illness, caring for children who are ill, general house hold duties and working alongside parents using the early years foundation stage.

From April 2015 I was a temporary nanny.

While I was a temp nanny I worked for several families, while working as a nanny I gained experience in working in the family home to provide wrap around care through school runs, cooking, cleaning and laundry (childrens only), food shopping, recognising illness, taking children to the doctors, dealing with emergency situations, adminiatering medicines and creams and arranging play dates and outings

In May 2015 I became a permanent nanny for two families Monday to Friday from May 2015 - October 2016.
The first family I worked for were a family in Cambridge, they have three children, and they were 6, 5, and 3 years old. I worked for this family from June 2015 until September 2016 for 2 days a week from 8.30am – 6/7pm.
the second family I worked for was with a family who live in Great Chesterford, Essex. They have 2 children they were 18 months and 5 years when I started. I started with this family to cover their last nanny leaving, for 7 weeks from 15th May 2015 – 29th June 2015. In August 2015 they asked me to come back so I stayed with them for another year 3 days a week 8.30 - 5.30/6.

My Qualifications

I studied a BTEC national diploma childcare, learning and development at Cambridge regional college for two years and while training I worked in 4 different placements for different ages to develop my practical skills and further my knowledge in children's learning and development.

I also have first aid and food safety training.

I am also Ofsted registered so I accept childcare vouchers.

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
