Hi
I currently work as a level 3 early years practitioner in a local private day nursery. I'm now looking for work as a part time nanny, and can be fairly flexible regarding hours. Evenings/weekends by arrangement.
I have worked in childcare for 22 years, and have experience of looking after children between 0 - 11 years. I am DBS checked, and have updated my training regularly including safeguarding and paediatric first aid.
Childcare is my passion. I've cared for, educated, taught, potty trained, had stand offs with 2 year olds (yes they are like mini teenagers!!!) I've wiped away tears, put plasters on knees, changed nappies, inspired, helped and encouraged them to create pieces of art, taught them to count, sing, read stories, baked cakes, grown sunflowers, taken them for picnics in the forest, played hide and seek! I could continue but I'll save that for another time...
I have also helped many families flourish over the years, as I was previously a home start volunteer.
I also have a 19 year old son, at university, whom I'm very proud of..
