My name is Danielle. I am 33 years old. I live in St Albans and have a 9 year old son and a 4 year old daughter. I am looking for daytime hours to fit around school times.
I enjoy being out and about. I often go to play groups, parks, woods, Willows farm, local fishery, softplays, museums and to the local library.
My Experience
I have 15 years of experience working with children, along with also having my own 2 children.
I worked in a nursery for over 7 years, I worked with a variety of ages from 3 months to 5 years during my time at the nursery. Whilst gaining my qualification I spent atleast a year in each room working with each age group to gain further knowledge and experience.
After receiving my qualification I was then based in the pre school room for over 3 years (3-5 years) but always on hand to help out in other rooms on a daily basis. In my last year working in a nursery setting I was based in the baby room (3months - 14months)
I have worked as a Nanny for the past 8 years. Age range 9months- 10yrs. I have really enjoyed working with family's and having a closer bond with the children in my care. I have enjoyed watching the children learn new skills and grow from little babies to preparing for and attending school. Aswel as seeing the lovely relationships that have formed between myself/my children and the children I look after. I do my best to plan varied activities and outings on a weekly basis.

Full, clean driving license.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this letter to recommend Danielle Picton for a nanny position; Danielle has worked for
our family from September 2020 to June 2021 and has watched my son since he was just 10 months
old for three days a week. During this time, Danielle has demonstrated to be very trustworthy,
responsible and reliable person with wonderful capabilities as a guardian. She has performed
extremely well keeping my son safe and happy and teaching him loads of new things for his personal
development. She is patient, hardworking and caring who has had a tremendously positive impact
on my son and all our family.
Danielle consistently arrived at our home on time, ready to engage with my son, with a smile on. She
has never let us down, not even during the pandemic. She shares and communicates very well any
information and she follows my recommendations.
She is kind, compassionate, and intelligent. My son really looks forward to spending time with her
and her children, who have become very close friends.
One of her qualities that I admire is her ability to be calm and gentle with my son at any situation.
She always treats my son as if he were her own by making him feel very loved and happy.
She makes art crafts at home with my son, and he enjoys it very much. She takes my son to the farm
and to different playgrounds to do different things every day.
She is flexible and adaptable. In few occasions, I asked Danielle to came and work on one of her days
off as I had a very important work meeting and she came and looked after my son.
She always keeps our house in order while keeping our son safe.
I also want to share a very special gesture that Danielle did for my son and me, she started to learn
Spanish to teach my son some words (numbers, colours, animals, etc.) as she knew I was Spanish
and I wanted my son to keep learning my language while I wasn’t around. This can show how
committed and caring Danielle is when she chooses a family to work with.
We are very sad to lose Danielle as our nanny, but due to recent changes in my work circumstances
and other personal reasons, we have decided to put our son in nursery. I am confident that she and
her children will always be a part of our lives.
I highly recommend Danielle Picton as a nanny. I am confident that choosing her for the position will
not disappoint you, as I know your children would love her as much as mine has. Please feel free to
