About Me
My name is Cheryl and I became a childminder in October 2015 after many years of working in a nursery . We were officially rated as GOOD by Ofsted in 2018 . We have now been running 4 years and have l had lots of lovely children coming to us over the last few years and all my parents have been very happy with the service we provide . My daughter Jade also works along side me and is fully qualified , We aim to provide a very warm homely loving environment for our children , we follow the EYFS and the children enjoy daily activities with us helping there learning and social skills and preparing them for school or nursery .
My Experience
22 years experience in childcare. I worked for 18 years in a local nursery and my position was room leader where I was in charge of 14 children. I also worked at a local childminder helping out while I was registering with Ofsted. I worked as a Nanny for 2 years whilst my own children were younger. I have done several courses in childcare and have lots of experience with children . I also have grandchildren now who I regularly look after too.
My Qualifications
NVQ 3 Cache in children care, learning and development
Cache level 3 award in preparing to work in home based childcare (QCF) , NVQ 2 Cache
Pateradric first aid ,
Safeguarding children certificate,
Two year check certificate
and have I have done several other short courses over the years .

I have availability now , and we have remained open through the pandemic and if anyone needs help with there children we are here and can help

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
I charge £8.50 per hour must do min of 6 hours per week . I accept childcare vouchers , Tax free childcare and 2 and 3 year funding . If you do full time hours I would do a reduced rate ,

My little girl has been with Cheryl since November ‘22 when she was 7 months old. Since day 1, we have left her with Cheryl knowing she would be in great hands. She absolutely loves going there! Cheryl and her team are amazing and very loving. Cheryl is very flexible and always so helpful when needing additional hours. Honestly, couldn’t have wished for a better childminder!

I had visited a number of childminder and small nurseries in the area when I stumbled across Cheryl at Happy Bunnies. Best decision I ever made for me and my daughter. She has been with Cheryl just over 2 years. Cheryl and her team are wonderful and caring and it’s so lovely to see as a parent how happy my daughter is there. Cheryl is extremely flexible and approachable and has helped me out on many occasions when I have needed last minute or urgent childcare. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cheryl and Happy Bunnies to anyone looking.
