I am a solo Mum to a seven year old son and a four year old daughter
My Requirements
We are a solo parent family - Mum (me), eight year old son and five year old daughter. We are looking for a (preferably male but the right female would work too!) for minimum of a half day each weekend. To help/play with/keep safe my AuADHD/PDA eight year old son who loves to be busy outside – mainly taking things apart (e.g. appliances), carpentry/woodwork, gardening/digging/lopping but also likes to play Minecraft and have downtime with the tv. He also loves to cook/create food (but not following recipes!) The person would have an understanding of low demand lifestyle/parenting as he craves autonomy and independence (but within that needs adult supervision to be safe). We have lots of outside space here so most of the time it would be doing something from the farm – but he also likes to go exploring historical places/vintage machinery etc. If this sounds like you please get in touch – he is desperate to have someone to do this with 1:1 who could come regularly.
