Jojo is 2 ½ years old now, so I feel that’s why I would like to update my review for the Crayons Cabin and to highlight the great work of Dawn and Rebecca in particular. Over the last few months my son has obviously grown in the physical and mental sense. Dawn not only has facilitated this growth but has also been a big part in my sons overall development educationally and socially.
My son’s behaviour is very typical of any 2 year old, however I believe that the Crayons Cabin has instilled so many things in him which will only benefit his growth and development when he goes onto a nursery school setting which will be in January 2018.

I appreciate the fact that Dawn has a mixture of learning and play in his daily activities which have enabled my son to achieve to a very high standard so many things such as learning to count, his Abc, holding a pen and trying to learn to write and scribble, and more recently potty training, where it is now learning to go to the toilet, sit on the toilet which I am absolutely ecstatic about. This has alleviated the pressure that I am doing this big learning curve alone, as the support with this milestone is greatly needed and appreciated.

My son’s overall speech which is over average for his age is only going from strength to strength and I often look forward to hearing about his day from him albeit fragmented but it’s so refreshing to hear him grow in confidence when he talks and have a conversation. His mannerism are obviously a testament to my own parenting skills, however Dawn has only reinforced the standards that I expect, little things like saying please and thank you, articulating and expressing himself are all the things that are strengthened by his time with Dawn. His concentration span and his social skills are enhanced by the variety of daily tasks and High quality learning tools and toys that Dawn has to offer and has invested in, with outings to local play centres, and now due to this wonderful weather visits to the park.

I have nothing but praise for the positive impact that Dawn and Rebecca of the Crayons Cabin have had on my sons early years foundations and can clearly say that they have gone over and beyond all expectations, and to be honest even though I am looking forward to my son starting his next chapter of his early years at nursery I will be sad that he will have to reduce his hours in such a wonderful, loving and nurturing environment.
Thank you so much Dawn and Rebecca for having such a positive and wonderful impact in Jojo’s life, and making me feel at ease when he is with you. It feels like a home to home service which is very unique to you both and the Crayons Cabin.
