Hello, my name is Laura and I am 29 years old.
I have a passion for caring and supporting children of all ages. I enjoy cooking and getting children involved in various activities, indoors and outdoors, both fun and educational. I over 12 years of qualifications and experiences to help to take care of child’s basic care and educational needs. I have experience in teaching nursery/ primary school age children. I am also happy to help around the home.

My Experience
I am a newly qualified children’s social worker and hold a MA in social work. I have worked with children of all ages for over 12 years, and have various qualifications to offer from level 1 to 7 in childcare. I have worked in a schools, nurseries and currently work as a Social Worker.
I have experience in working with children with various different needs such as learning disabilities and mental health needs. e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attensive Deficit Hyperactivity disorder. I also have two young siblings, friends with young children and a God daughter who I also look after on a regular basis.
My Qualifications
I have just completed my masters in social work. I graduated my undergraduate degree five years ago in social welfare. I have various qualifications to offer from level 1 to 7 in childcare. I am DBS checked and up to date. I am also first aid trained and up to date with infants to adults.
My Availability
I am very flexible and punctual. At the moment i am available on some evenings in the week and all day Saturday and Sunday. Message me for further details.

We first met Laura when my second daughter was 6 weeks old and we were looking for some additional help in the evenings with my 3 year old. Laura has swiftly become a much loved part of our family, both girls adore her: My eldest will regularly start the day by asking whether Laura is coming that evening and though my now 7 month old can't talk yet, the joy in her little face and the bouncing up and down that ensues when she sees Laura walk through the door is confirmation enough for me. She is simply a star and we couldn't wish for a better babysitter.
Overall
Laura is much an amazing young woman it's hard to find someone who can understand and connect with jsk because of him being autistic, Laura was prompt at getting back to me when I got in touch with her.
Jsk and her have formed a lovely bond over the course of 3 days she even came along with us to parallel london at the queen elizabeth olympic grounds to take part in the 1k super sensory that jsk was taking part in.
I didn't hesitate to leave my son in her care it was like as if we had known each other for a very long time.
