My son Jacob has been with Christine for just over a year now and I am extremely happy with the level of care she provides. I had originally started Jacob in a day nursery but it was clear from early on that he wasn't thriving in the environment and needed a much more nurturing and personal type of childcare. After visiting a few childminders, and quite frankly being unhappy by what I was seeing, I found the gem that is Christine's Childminding.

You instantly get a warm welcome when you visit Christine and you know that she genuinely loves her job and cares for your child.

We have a daily diary which lets me know what Jacob has eaten and what their day together has been like but also give me the opportunity to communicate messages to her if you haven't got time to inform her at drop off time. Christine is also great at keeping in touch by text if necessary and never seemed to mind the multiple texts I sent her when Jacob was first settling in!

Jacob always have a fun filled day and the activities are always age appropriate, fun, as well as meeting the ever changing developmental needs of young children. I also love the range of home cooked meals that Christine provides which I feel has contributed to my son being happy to eat just about anything because he has has such a varied diet at Christines.

When changing from a day nursery to a childminder, I was concerned about the level of interaction Jacob would get from playing with other children, but I needn't have worried. Christine is mindful of this and has really good networks with other local childminders where they meet up to go to the park, visit indoor play places or the local playgroup.

I feel Jacob has enjoyed every minute of being at Christine's Childminding...it is just like home from home which obviously means I can go to work happily knowing he is being cared for by someone who is going to stimulate him as well as giving him a cuddle when he needs it.

I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.
