We were fortunate enough to have Sharon as our son’s childminder from the age of one until he was three (when we left london). In short, she is simply wonderful and the care she provided our son was as good as it gets. While our son was in Sharon’s care he spent an enormous amount of time outdoors, developed wonderful friendships with the other children, ate home-cooked meals, developed resilience, was incredibly active and generally had the most glorious time.
Sharon provided the children in her care with a huge variety of experiences that a nursery could never offer. Farms, parks, airports, always listening to what the children were leaning towards and using that as a starting point. We learnt a lot from Sharon ourselves as parents. Our son was a little slow to talk and we used signing as Sharon did this with him. We would often ask advice about all sorts of things! We will be forever grateful to Sharon for giving our lovely little boy such a valuable start in his early years education.

Sharon is a kind, caring professional who can give your child the very best. She is so knowledgeable about child development and understands how to adapt learning and development to suit your child's unique preferences and needs. Sharon looks after your child with the same love as she would her own children and my little boy was so lucky to spend his early years in such a loving and fun family home.
Sharon provides nutritious lunches and snacks and my little boy loved her food. She establishes a positive and relaxed environment for mealtimes, where children learn routines and good manners.
Sharon takes the children to so many activities and highly values outdoor play, something that my child thrived in. She goes above and beyond in providing activities out of her setting and gives the children real opportunities to explore their community and culture.
In my opinion, Sharon is the very best childminder you can find in the area and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to send my child to her setting.

Sharon has looked after my 2 daughters, the eldest from 1 year to 4 years, and the younger one from 8 months old until now. We feel so lucky to have found her, and have never once had any worries about my children being in her care. I can go about my day knowing that my child is in the best hands. She is creative, kind, sensible, safe, fun and genuinely loves the children in her care. Her cooking is amazing, and she’s my guru for all natural remedies! My children love her, and so do we. She’s incredibly professional and provides lovely detailed updates during the day. I cannot fault her service and highly recommend!

Both of my children have been looked after by Sharon - first my son from age 1-3, his and our first childcare experience and then my daughter. They both loved being with Sharon and my daughter who is with Sharon now (3 years old) is so happy that she tells everyone about her Sharon days. Sharon took my son (pre-Covid) to different play groups and on lovely trips out to explore the outdoors and now with my daughter she gets outdoors pretty much every day. I have felt with both children that Sharon has quickly got to know and understand them, which is so reassuring. The activities that Sharon arranges every day are a great combination of play and learning new things.

Sharon has looked after our little boy for over 3 years since he was 1 year old. We are so grateful to have found Sharon and can't recommend her enough. Since day 1, my son settled so well and her house is like a second home to him. He even sometimes asks if he can go at the weekend!
Sharon is a very warm and caring individual and her home environment is wonderful for children's development. She sends us daily updates on all of the wonderful activities he has been up to, and the delicious healthy food he has eaten. One of the things we especially love is how Sharon takes them often to explore nature, and incorporating the outdoors into their learning.
Sharon goes out of her way to provide excellent care. Our son has a dairy allergy and it is such a relief to know the attention she gives to ensure he keeps well and healthy (including cooking delicious dairy free meals).
Sharon has also been a huge support to us as parents, offering great advise through our sons developmental transitions including things like potty training, sleep etc.

Sharon started looking after our son when he was eleven months old. He settled immediately into her warm and caring environment. He is now almost four and still loves going to Sharon's house!
We are kept informed of all the fun he has by daily photos and written updates, which are very comprehensive. Her food is delicious and we often wish we could pop in for lunch too! She communicates very clearly and makes drop off and pick up very smooth.
Sharon is incredibly kind with the children and truly cares for their well-being, development and learning. She follows the interests of the children and actively encourages outdoor exploration and nature based learning - mud and messy play are lots of fun with Sharon! Each day is a new adventure, with woodland walks, local park visits, local play groups, music groups and also visits to other lovely places. She has adapted his activities as he's developed and supported him to grow socially and emotionally. He has flourished with the personalised experience that Sharon provides. Sharon was recommended by local word of mouth to us and we are so thankful, she has been the best educator and carer for our son that we could have wished for.

Shazza looked after my son from 18 months to 3 years old when he started nursery. It is a huge thing to entrust your child to someone else and noone I visited felt right. It was nearly time for me to go back to work when I found Shazza online and it still feels like a miracle. She really does give the kids in her care an outdoors childhood and takes them to a variety of places - and playgroups too. They have a wonderful sunny play area full of toys so that my son would run in every day to start playing. I had to chase him round the room sometimes to get him to leave! If you don't want your child to be in front of the tv but to develop a love of nature, creative play and social skills in a home from home environment then I highly recommend Shazza.
