A fantastic childminder

Reviewed

We asked Angela to look after our son when he was only under 5 months. She and her family and other children really love our son; I always feel Angela is like family, she wasn't just doing her job to look after children, instead, she genuinely care about them, just like her own children. I didn't have to worry during my working hours at all.

Due to her previous experience in pre-school, she has a lot of inspirational activities and her drawings are really creative. She led children to make either a card or some other things (like painting on pots, making hand/foot print key rings etc) for every festive day (Father's day, mother's day, Christmas, .....) They're amazing. After seeing these things, I felt as an adult, I am so lack of creativity!

She taught children good behaviours, that's really important. Relationships among the several children there are really good. She can be very magic - e.g in her house, my son will run to sit on the floor to wait for his snacks if he sees it coming, but he would take the snack running around in our own house making mess. I never know how she did it!

She taught my son to count and we were all so excited to hear a young baby counting!!

She took children out a lot - proper outing - National Trust etc. Very few childminders offer this experience. She goes to local library and soft play very often too.

She never gets ill. The reason I'm saying this is - I had the worry when I was looking for a childminder that how often I would have to ask for annual leave without notice due to a childminder's sick leave. But I don't remember any day, so it really saved a lot of my troubles. She also has a buddy childminder; they often go out together and help each other.

I highly recommend her! Really a fantastic childminder that you can fully trust and rely on.
