Maissa has been looking after my little one for a few months now, I've never had anyone looking after him before so I didn't know what to expect, but since the first contact via messages, then on the phone and in person, I knew she was the right person for us. She's very kind, loving and generous, she's always calm around my little one and she actively helps him to achieve his developmental goals in different environments and situations through play, observation and interaction with the world. She encourages my little one's independence and interaction with other kids, and keeps me updated on my baby's progress at the end of the day.
The area where the kids can play is quite big, and my boy loves to crawl everywhere! The setting is spotless and toys are sterilised often.
She always cooks fresh and healthy meals that my boy loves!
She's supportive and helpful if I need advice, and taking my baby there feels like a home away from home for him... I can't recommend her enough!

I've only exchanged a few texts with this provider and I won't be using her. Requested my phone details (she texted me!) and I told her I'd call. I didn't have time to call, and she made it very clear that bothered her a lot, with snappy texts. If it's like that in texts, I don't see how it will be different in person. Definitely won't be using her.

Firstly i didn’t request your number it was on your profile
Secondly you promised to call but you didn’t, then said you got a childminder
Thirdly you then messaged me saying they cancelled on you for whatever reason and would I be available promising you would call again, but you didn’t! Time waster!
So beware of working for this parent as they would likely cancel you on the day!
Since Jamie started at Meissa's setting at 8 months old, we never looked back. At our first meeting we could tell her passion for looking after children was genuine, she welcomed us in her setting as first time parents, worried about leaving our precious baby with someone we didn't know. Day after day, she proved she could not only be a fantastic Childminder, but a great Teacher and a invaluable support system for both Jamie and us.
Jamie bloomed in front of our eyes, both physically and mentally, he was never bored of the activities she gave him and made great friends with all the children, including Meissa's children, that Jamie love like his brother and sister. The nutritious and various meals she cooked from scratch, every day, are definitely one of the reasons Jamie is not a picky eater, he loved Meissa's cooking!
In the three years we've been with Meissa, she has always been positive and forthcoming if anything came up that needed sorting, she's been incredible when our youngest son was born, and we're gutted we moved away and we can't continue our journey with her as our Childminder for our second born.
She will always be part of our family, we will always be grateful to have had her in our life, and we miss her dearly.
To every parent out there, if you ever manage to get a place with Meissa, you'll be the happiest parents in the world.
