We had gone through lots of cost and efforts to chose our nanny. Finally we chose Alba aka Dawn on here.
We paid her for a few trial days while I was in the house so that our son could get to know her.
Just one week before her start day and me going back to work she sent me a text message saying she had decided to do a PGCE and had taken an offer.
Absolutely selfish thing to do, not only had she taken our time and money without telling us that she had applied for a PGCE, she also didn’t care that we would be left without childcare just one week before going back to work!
I was so fed up with this nanny experience that I immediately signed up for nursery.

I had interviewed several people and had offered Alba the job because she lived near us.
She had a two weeks paid trial with us when I actually didn’t need her.
Just a few days before I was going back to work she sent me a text message saying that she has got a place at a college to study (she had never mentioned that she had applied, obviously I would have had not wasted my time with her if I knew!)
Do not trust this person even though she seems sweet and reliable.

Yesi is absolutely lovely! She is a very happy and caring person. My children, specially my baby immediately was attached to her and was always smiling around her. She is very flexible and she was also teaching Spanish to my children. Truly, a wonderful nanny and babysitter!

This person's name is Alba and she was a terrible disappointment! She completely wasted our time and money. She had confirmed the nanny job with us and we paid her for lots of trial sessions to come in and bond with our baby. Only ONE week before starting with us (and me going back to work) she said that she didn't want to be a nanny anymore and that she had got a place for a teacher's training (she had never mentioned to us that she had applied!)
We were so horrified by this experience and the lies that we decided to put our little baby into the nursery as we felt that we could never trust a nanny again!
