Katka has been working for us and taking care of our now 6-year-old daughter since the beginning of January 2021. At the time, our daughter was in year 1 and due to the COVID pandemic and the third lockdown, her school had implemented full-time virtual home-schooling with classes from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. During the whole lock down period until the beginning of March, Katka was responsible to look after our daughter full-time five days a week and support her with the home learning, while we were working from home. She assisted our daughter in all her activities and tasks, during the very busy online/remote learning schedule.
Katka is a lovely and caring person, and she immediately established a good relationship with our daughter. Her support was exemplary during this period, and in addition to providing great assistance with the home learning she also picked up on our daughter’s love for arts and handcraft and showed exceptional creativity in the activities she came up with.
Once the lock down ended and our daughter went back to school, Katka was responsible for school pick-ups and she helped our daughter to perform her daily homework, engaged her in creative activities and arranged playdates with her friends. Katka also looked after our daughter during school holidays. Katka took our daughter to several whole day events, such as spending a day at a National Trust or animal petting and feeding parks. She also took her to the Library, the cinema and to theatre plays in the nearby town. We had full trust and confidence in Katka caring for our daughter while taking her to all these events. Katka also took our daughter on play dates and we also had many play dates that she supervised at our house. (All our daughter’s friends loved to come for play dates here!). She engaged with the children in creative activities.
Katka has demonstrated tremendous responsibility in taking care of our daughter and helping her in the process of her academy development. One of her great strengths is also her exceptional creativity when it comes to engaging our daughter in different activities and games. Our daughter always looks forward to meeting with Katka.
Katka is kind, trustworthy and great with children, and for this reason we would certainly recommend her.
It is clear to us that working as a nanny is a passion for Katka. She loves working with children and we see this manifest in the way she established the relationship with our daughter and her communication skills and creative ideas for activities.
