About Me
I am a mum to a currently 2.5 year old and 4 month old boys, looking for a part time-full time nanny with own child role from late September/October.
In my previous nanny role which my little boy came along and became very good friends with the similar age child and enjoyed access to our local community each day including play parks, beach or woodland walks, soft play and zoo visits or local playgroups. My elder boy goes to nursery now 2 days a week and increasing next year, I’m now looking for a similar role with my little one who will be around 8 months. In my care your child will be throughly cared for and will enjoy the time spent with us with.
I follow a parenting and caring style of gentle and responsive parenting as well as aspects of Montessori approach to development.
My Experience
5 years working within toddler unit in a nursery with 2 years as a deputy room manager
Three years working within a residential parenting assessment unit (mainly birth - 12 weeks) teaching parenting to vulnerable people and supporting parents of at risk babies
As well as this I provided supervised contact for children in a safe environment to allow them to see family that they cannot if unsupervised.
1.5 year nannying with own child which I then registered as a childminder for single child, I gave up my registration but willing to consider re registering.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in early education
Hands on experience in many areas including teaching and supporting vulnerable parents parenting skills
Many CPD courses
Relevant qualifications including first aid, driving license and DBS
My Availability
My two year old currently attends nursery Thursday 8.30-4.30 and Friday 1-4.30. Will be increasing his hours in the new year. I will describe myself as available Monday-Friday if the family are willing to consider me with both my children or just the Thursday and Friday until his hours are able to be increased.
