I'm an Ofsted registered child minder living between Orpington and Pettswood Stations with my Husband and 3 boys aged 2, 8 and 9 years. Our boys love the outdoors and we spend lots of time adventuring outside, gardening, bug hunting, digging and generally having fun getting messy.
We regularly visit High Elms nature reserve, Sparrow Wood, Keston Ponds, toddler groups, library visits and many other planned activities in the home.
Myself and my partner are fully trained chefs, so food is a BIG deal in our house! We eat plenty of home cooked healthy meals and all get involved when possible, especially when baking cakes and yummy treats :o)

Our son was with Lauren from 10 months old until he started school this year, and has loved it. They were outside exploring, playing and learning every day, followed interesting nature topics each week, and we're often at the allotment. She read with him often, and took him to the library, encouraging hkm to value quiet time as well as loud and joyful play times. The food was varied and healthy, and she encouraged him to help with age-appropriate tasks like peeling carrots, weighing ingredients etc. Lauren helped through his potty training and was always happy to share ideas and advice. I can't recommend her highly enough.
