I live in Winsford and am happy to travel to a pupil's home within with Winsford area.
My Experience
I was a teaching assistant in a local secondary school for 7 years then completed a PGCE in Mathematics 4 years ago. I have taught Mathematics in various Secondary Schools in Lancashire. I am currently teaching the new Mathematics curriculum 2 days a week in a local secondary school and in addition I tutor pupils on high support 1 or 2 days a week as required. My previous job was a full time Mathematics tutor in a Secondary School were 85% of the pupils who were previously on a grade D or E improved to achieve a grade C in their GCSEs in Summer 2016 after just 2-5 weeks Mathematics tuition for 30 minutes a day. I have also tutored pupils privately for GCSE and A level Mathematics. All pupils achieved a grade A when they were previously on B or C grades.
My Qualifications
I have a Degree and a PGCE in Mathematics, I have taught and tutored in a range of settings including SEND pupils.
My Availability
I am flexible and I am happy to work when needed so no need for commitment to weekly.
