About Me
I am a loving happy person with lots of soul! I have been blessed with 7 beautiful children (2 sets of twins!) which consist of 5 girls and 2 boys. I also have 4 adorable grandchildren! I love life, fun, laughter, music, people, eating out and experiencing different cultures I am a very organised individual, very professional when working and love to work to a high standard. I love people, irrespective of age, sex or gender.
My Experience
I have had years and years of working with children and the older I get the more I am passionate about my work. After leaving school when I was 16 I went on to do YTS training in a Day Nursery and loved it. Since then i have worked in various fields with children and have to say that the children are the ones who have taught me a lot!! I have worked in a primary school as part of work experience in my younger days, I worked at a Play scheme for 6 weeks. I have worked with children with special needs and Downs Syndrome which is a very rewarding job. I worked as an Under 2's Unit Leader and a Deputy Manager in a private Day Nursery. I have also worked in a Montessori as a Under 2's Unit Leader. I gained a lot of experience from working in a Children's Home for children that had been badly abused. I worked from 2013 to 20119 as a Breakfast and Afterschool Club Manager at a Primary school in Streatham which I have recently resigned from to now work from home as a Registered Childminder.
This is such a rewarding and fulfilling role where I am able to enhance children's learning at a pace that's right for them and alongside parents and carers in partnership to achieve the best possible outcome for their child.

My Availability
Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm.
Weekends- Saturday evenings and all day Sunday.
I work all year round.
I accept both full time and part time children.
I accept funded and student finance payments.
Happy to do wrap around care. So before and after school for those who only need that service are welcome!

My Fees

My fees are £7.50 per hour- Full day is 7am-7pm
Half day fee- 7am-1pm with Breakfast, Snack and Lunch: £45.00
Half day fee- 2pm-7pm with Snack and Dinner: £38.00
Babies under 1 year = £8.00 per hour
School drop off: £15.00 per hour
School pick ups: £15.00per hour
Ad Hoc fee: £12.00 per hour
Emergency Cover Fee: £15.00 per hour

I met Leonie with my daughter at her setting, she was professional, welcoming and as soon as my daughter met her, she felt at home.I was not worried leaving her with Leonie because she seemed comfortable and Leonie 's setting became like a second home to my daughter. She not only takes good care of my daughter but let's her express herself through play, various activities that are arranged for the day.Leonie keeps you informed of any changes in advance as well as keeping me updated with my daughter's progress. The environment is clean safe for children, therfore I recommend for any parent who is looking for a good and safe place away from home for their kids.As for the school drop-off, rest assured that your child will be in school on time.

Leonie is helping us picking up our daughter from school and dropping at our home everyday since last two years, our daughter enjoys Leonie's company riding back home. Leonie is extremely professional and prompt, she gives us enough notice when taking leaves, that allows us to plan things.Loenie is flexible, she helped us to drop our daughter to school on a short notice on couple of ocassion even though this was not part of her contract. We highly recommend Leonie.
