Katy looked after my little boy from 9 months. She fully understood the struggle a parent goes through dropping off their child for the first time with someone who is ultimately a stranger. However, she made this process simple and as hassle free as possible. From the moment we walked through the door he was made to feel welcome and it was such a relief to know that my child was being looked after in a caring and homely environment. Her incredibly sweet children are a reflection of her wonderful parenting and this too is reflected in her work as a childminder.

Katy carefully prepared diverse activities to make the space an explorative environment, and he was always attracted to the new toys and activities that she had planned for the day. This provided him with enough challenge for his ever changing milestones. Katy works with families dependant on their needs. For us it was his fluctuating sleep patterns, developing his language or changes in his behaviour. Katy kept us fully informed through his early years diary, and a catch up at the end of the day. This was very different from what the busy local nurseries could offer.

Our little boy, thoroughly enjoyed his days out with Katy, and I felt reassured that he was safe and happy through her regular contact and photos updating us of their day. If I ever had to go back to work, I would definitely be contacting Katy. She is an incredible childminder who gives every child exceptional pastoral care, nurturing their personality and providing them with the security and boundaries that you would want for your child.
