Hello. I'm 27 and I'm from Tenerife, Spain but I have been living in London since 2018. I have worked as a nanny for the last 2 years with 3 kids (5yo, 3yo and a baby) in Barnes and previously as a therapist in a special needs school with teenagers with Autism for other 2 years. I've got experience with all ages and I feel comfortable dealing with multiple kids at the same time. My main requirement is to be treated with respect and to value my work. At the moment, I can only offer evening (from 6pm) and weekend help as I am already working full time Mon-Thu. Feel free to contact me for this.
I studied Psychology for 4 years at the university and then due to my interest in expanding my knowledge and experience in the field of child educational development, I studied a Master's in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at UCL.
I have a full driving licence and my own car.
My Experience
I have worked as an au pair, babysitter and nanny. I also have experience weaning and potty training.
I did an internship working with premature babies. I have a Paediatric First Aid certificate and my DBS check. I have a lot of experience with children. In Spain, I was taking care of a 2-year-old child every day (6 hours per day for 2 years) and a group of children every weekend (0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 years old). I've also been babysitting for years. I work regularly for many families in London, including lots of babies! I can show references and I'm more than happy to share my CV as well as travel with the family. I have experience working in busy private houses and with big teams.
I am a discrete, responsible, fun and caring person. I love children and I would like to make you feel calm and relaxed when I am with your kids! I can also talk to them in Spanish if that's something you are interested in! Looking forward to hearing from you x
Football is my passion and I always get an excuse to talk about it. I also enjoy reading, cooking and doing puzzles.

Raquel has been absolutely fantastic with our 2 year old son. She took care of him for a few days while I was away, and even though he is usually sheepish with new people, he was comfortable right away. Our son has the time of his life playing with Raquel and yet eats well and goes to bed easily, allowing us to go out for the first time in years, thank you !

Raquel was being amazing with my 2 young girls, and built a good relationship with girls from the 1st day. she has great patience with kids and managed to teach them new skills through playing with them. She is a life saver and I am so grateful I found her.

Raquel has been helping us look after our son as an adhoc babysitter for almost a year now. She started when he was 8 months old. She showed herself as highly professional yet caring babysitter. We were initially worried how our son will take it, but Raquel managed to gain his trust from day one. She would look after him, take him for a walk, feed him, and would even put him to sleep. 100% recommend to anyone!

Raquel got on really well with my 9 month old baby boy from the first moment. She is great at playing with, communicating, feeding him, and getting him to sleep for naps.
