My daughter started staying at Donna’s in April 2022. She was 1,5 yo so still very mummy dependent and fragile. Beginnings were not easy as she refused to eat for the first few days and was missing me a lot but thanks to Donna and only because of her we all managed to survive this. Every day my little girl became more and more confident under Donna’s care. My daughter was always supported, reassured, respected, listened. All her needs and wishes were taken under consideration. Donna treated her exactly the same way I would, which gave me comfort and reassurance so I could focus on work. Month after month Donna, my daughter and Donna’s son were getting closer and grew an amazing bond. My little girl started to feel at Donna’s like at second home and there were days when she refused to leave saying that Donna is more fun! 😅 I was extremely happy with how they spent their time together. I loved that they were outside almost every day, that they attended play groups so my child is not scared of new people and places, they did all the dirty arts and crafts you don’t always want to do at home, they celebrated special occasions, learned numbers, colours, nursery rhymes, read books.. the list is endless. Donna was amazing with keeping my girl calm and comfortable in difficult situations when she all of the sudden had fever or was sick. Amazing communication with me and my husband. We received hundreds of absolutely beautiful pictures. Every day at pickup time Donna gave me a brief handover so I knew what they were up to and how my child was. Donna also writes a child diary where she documents all achievements and child development. To sum this up. I couldn’t been happier and more grateful to Donna for all she did for my little girl.
