Without warning, this childminder terminated our contract due to "personal circumstances", despite none of the other children in her care being affected. Based on the fact we paid fees as expected, didn't cause any problems and have well behaved kids, we can only assume this was done out of spite following a very minor complaint we all agreed was resolved. The net result? Our children may now need to move schools because wrap around care options are so limited and we work full time - all of which Jane fully understood when making this decision. I guess that is likely the reason she has refused to communicate with us thereafter. For someone who prides themselves on high quality childcare, knowingly creating a situation that so heavily impacts an innocent 4 and 9 year old is frankly despicable.
