About Me
We are a happy, fun loving & relaxed family with a 7 year old daughter Eleri and 4 year old son Oli.
They are great kids: fun, curious, intelligent and also kind. For the most part, they play brilliantly together too.
I'm a local GP & my partner works in the city. We live in Finchley.
We're an active family- we love hiking in nature, camping and travelling. We also love music & festivals, cooking and creativity, building community and spending time with our friends and family.
My Requirements
We are looking for caring and fun "wrap around care" for our children ON WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS : 3.25 pm pick up until 7pm.
We need you to pick up Eleri and Oli from school (Eden Primary, N10 1NR) and take them home (by car or by bus), make them dinner and support them doing school related activities/ art/ fun in the garden until 7pm.
You need to
1. Absolutely love childern.
2. Be fun, enthusiastic & playful - and also responsible, trustworthy & reliable.
3. Be caring & nourishing - but also boundaried when necessary.
4. Show initiative in finding exciting, age-appropriate activities for Eleri & Oli.
5. Be passionate about helping them learn, grow & develop.
6. Be fluent in Engish and able to communicate if any difficulties arise.
7. Have suitable work experience with children.
8. CRB checked.
9. Paediatric first aid course complete.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Provide genuine & loving care and ensure the children's safety.
2. Make (very simple) healthy meals - dinner - and ensure the youngest actually eats the food as he prefers to play!
3. Pick up from school on time, then either a 10 minute journey by car (if you have) or a 30 minute journey by walk & bus.
4. Encourage non-screen related activities once home
We have plenty of resources: art materials, games, garden and the kids play well together.
5. Ensure any "school work" is done and support where necessary.
6. Have fun with the kids.
7. No cleaning is necessary but tidying up of play areas and the kitchen after use is expected.
