Excellent, the best!

I used this website to find Helen when I moved to Swindon from London last year. I read Helen's profile first and nobody else's profile compared to hers! When I called Helen to check her availability, I knew instantly she was the right person for us. We moved to Swindon not knowing anyone or the local area and my military husband was deployed to Afghanistan one month after we moved. Helen helped me find my feet with doctors, hospitals etc and regularly directed me on the many occasions I was lost! To say Helen has been an absolute angel would be an understatement! I couldn't have got through the past year without her! My 2 year old son, James, spends 4 full days with Helen which he absolutely loves! Some days it can be a fight to get him to leave!! I wanted someone who would look after James as though he was part of the family and this is exactly what Helen does. James has excellent fun, has learned his shapes, colours, numbers, songs and has really developed in Helen's care over the past year. Nothing is ever a problem for Helen, she is always professional, caring, compassionate and just a really lovely, kind person. Helen's 2 children are 2 of the nicest kids I have ever met and both go out of their way to make James feel welcome upon his arrival. I really cannot put into words how happy I have been to find Helen and I would absolutely recommend Helen to anyone - you will not find anyone better - she is one in a million!

Very happy parent

My son has been with Helen after school since Sept last year. He adores her and also her 2 children. Helen provides a very happy and safe place for children. My son comes home after playing all afternoon with the other children and a full tummy after having dinner there. Helen has special birthday parties if the child is near his/her birthday and they all enjoy the party.
I would recommened Helen to anyone who needs a loving, caring, playful adult to look after their child before or after school. Helen always has a smile on her face even when the noise of a couple of children playing is loud !
I am due with my second child in September and hope to carry on using Helen after my maternity leave from work comes to a end as i cant think of anywhere safer for my little one to be looked after.

Professional, Fun & Trustworthy Childminder

I have known Helen since my son started with her at age of 2 years old in 2006. After using three childminders previously who were not up to childminding, I had daunting feelings of having to work and not being able to trust my son was getting everything he deserved. I was very nervous in changing childminders again, but it was the best thing I ever did!

My son stayed with Helen until he started school at nearly 5 years old. My daughter has been looked after by Helen also since she was 7 months old and is due to start school this year. Therefore I can confirm I have used and known Helen for 6 years with both my children.

I can honestly say I am quite picky and like my children to be active and learn things new every week. Helen provides me and my husband with the confidence they are not only well looked after in a caring and loving environment but are also provided with developmental activites and progress accordingly with their age which Helen provides.

Helen puts so much effort into taking the children to different places each week and teaching them new things, but also providing activities that are very varied. She encourages the children to play together and share and generally be nice to each other.

I have over the years developed a friendship with Helen because of the great job she does in looking after my children. Helen cares and I suspect she loves them in a way which makes them feel secure and at home.

You will not regret choosing Helen. Helen does not childmind as if it is her job even though it is, she welcomes the children in and treats them like her own. My son even now when we drop off my daughter wants to go back to Helen's and not school and gets quite sad when he cannot.

Wwonderful childminder

I have 2 daughters and we moved to North Swindon over 2 years ago, my youngest daughter was able to get a place at St Francis our local school, however my eldest was not. I spoke with Helen initially by telephone to enquire about a placement and was confident even during this one convesation that Helen would be right for us and following Helen inviting us to our home to meet her and her family, I knew for certain that she was. Helen was instrumental in settling my youngest daughter into life at her new school providing fabulous care for her, both before and after school . Now that both of my Children attend St Francis, Helen provides care for them prior to school, where they eat a varied and healthy breakfast. My daughters are rather lively little girls and Helen is wonderful with them, they have such fun with her, with the girls always having something to recount to me about thier morning. Helen always keeps me informed and her home is a lovely clean and safe environment for the children. The only problem that I have with Helen is that my girls never want to leave, which is not really a problem, its a testiment to the care that she provides for them. Helen is a big part of mine and my girls lives, she always goes above and behond for us and I feel very lucky to have found her.

Helen has looked after both of my children for a number of years up until each of them started school and has been absolutlely fantastic. My little boy starts school in September and had his last day with Helen a couple of weeks ago which made me think back over the time he has spent in her care and how thankful and lucky I am to have found a childminder like her. She provides a safe, caring and fun environment and it has been wonderful to be able to leave my children with someone I trust 100% to keep them out of harms way while I am at work. Helen has always made sure my children have lots of fun, with many trips out, lots of good messy play and activities to help develop their understanding of the world around them. Importantly Helen also recognises when they need some quiet time and her home provides lovely environment to play safely. I cannot recommend Helen highly enough, she is intelligent, caring and fun and I will always be thankful to her for all she has done.

Fantastic Childminder

After deciding to return to full time education I found myself in the predicament of who to trust with my children ages 4 and 2. I can honestly say Helen has been an excellent childminder. My children both love her with my youngest wanting to go there at the weekends!. The boys do a variety of activites ranging from splashing in puddles to trips to the gym and play areas. They both do a lot of craft and play lots of games. Everyday they have stories to tell me which is amazing especially since the eldest can never remember what he has done at school but always relays what he did at Helens. Helen made the transition go so smoothly from myself being a full time mum to a student and I cannot thank her enough for her support and amazing care of my children. I highly recommend Helen to anyone in the area who needs a childminder, you will not regret it!
