Rude, terrible conduct, awful communication

Sara, our part-time nanny for 2 months, including the Christmas period, vanished without notice after I entrusted her with £900 during our holiday. She failed to pick up the kids from school, leaving me to discover 5 minutes before pickup time. After ghosting me for 3 days, she reappeared with implausible excuses like a stolen phone.

Further issues arose during my trip to the US, as she insulted me via text for inconveniencing her with having to take home a friend of my daughter. Despite repeated requests, she shared only 2 pictures during my 5-day absence from my kids, and she lost my debit card without an apology.

Attempts to ensure the safety of my children, like requesting a live location on WhatsApp, were met with refusal, and she suggested I buy an Airtag instead. When addressing her messiness, she dismissed it, claiming childcare is about bonding, leaving me to clean up after her instead.
Requesting a DBS check, her address, and an emergency contact was met with avoidance and accusations of treating her like a criminal.

Sara's arrogance and ignorance were evident throughout her tenure.
She never apologized for anything, disrespected me, ignored my messages, and lied to keep the holiday money.

Last but not least, the kids gave her a gift and a card for Christmas... do you think she thought about given the kids a little present (even just chocolate coin or a card to show she cared).
