About Me
I am a primary teacher with nearly 20 years experience of teaching and tutoring. I am a creative person and enjoy learning.
My Experience
I have been a full time Primary School Teacher for 19 years as well as a 1-to-1 tutor and have excellent subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum. I provide face to face (in the student's home) and online tutoring (to UK based and international students). I quickly build a rapport with my students and tailor my teaching to their individual needs, so that every child has the opportunity to feel confident, resilient and succeed in reaching their full potential. I have a great deal of experience of working with students who are new to English or have English as an additional language, as well as students with a variety of Special Educational Needs. I mainly tutor primary (KS1 and KS2) maths and English, but I am happy to cover other subjects across the Primary National Curriculum. I have also successfully tutored many students during primary school and then continued tutoring them in maths through to their GCSE exams, with excellent results. My recent Year 6 students have completed their SATs and have moved on to secondary school, which means I am ready to welcome new students.

My Availability
I am a full time teacher so my availability is in the evenings. During school holidays I have more availability and can tutor in the afternoons and evenings.
