Hi there, I will be finishing with my current lovely family in November and am looking for another lovely family to work for. At present I can offer 2 full days a week. From November I will be able to offer 3 to 4 full days a week. AWARDED CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE by Childcare.co.uk.
I love looking after babies and children of all ages. I am a Qualified British Nanny fluent in Italian. I can also speak conversational French. I am kind, caring, warm, reliable, nurturing, trustworthy and an excellent communicator. I have been valued by parents for my warmth, gentleness, professionalism and dedication. I was an actress for many years as well as being a therapeutic pregnancy massage therapist and have experience being a nanny for over 15 years looking after from newborn to 8 years of age. I especially have a wealth of experience looking after newborns and young babies. I also have experience as a nanny share and looking after twins. I love walks in the park, reading, the arts and travelling. I absolutely love being a nanny/babysitter and find it very rewarding being part of a little ones life, nurturing and teaching them as they grow, reaching each developmental milestone. My Experience
I have worked as a nanny for over 10 families both full time & part time roles. Caring for:
A 4 month old baby girl. Duties included all nursery duties.
A 2 year old little girl from when she was 4 months old. Duties included supporting developmental milestones. Going to park, playgroup and playdates. Feeding, changing and putting to sleep.
A Newborn (10 days old) baby boy. Duties included feeding - making up bottle, changing nappies, sterilizing bottles, putting down for naps, play. Going to park and playgroups. All nursery duties. Light house keeping.
A Newborn (4 days old) baby girl until she was 24 months. Duties included feeding, changing nappies, sterilizing bottles, weaning, putting to sleep, play. Supporting developmental milestones being reached. Going to parks, playground and playgroups. Nursery duties.
3 month old twins. feeding, supporting weaning, changing nappies and clothes. early learning activities through play,outdoor play, putting down for naps.

A 3 year old girl and her 5 year old brother . Duties including educational play indoors & helping with numbers, alphabet, colours and lots of story telling. Outdoor play and playdates. Preparing lunch, bath and bedtime.
I have over 15 years experience as a nanny and babysitter. I babysit regularly for 4 families, caring for a baby girl who was 1 month old at the start, a baby boy who was 6 weeks old at the start, newborn twins (10 days old) at the start and a 15 month old baby boy at the start.

My rates are purely for childcare. I don't work as a house-keeper or family cook. Doing nursery duties is part of my job. This includes preparing meals for the baby/child, sterilizing bottles and tidying the nursery, play area and kitchen after myself. Putting away baby/child laundry and all duties pertaining to the child only.
My Qualifications
I have an O level - Grade A in Child Development as well as nursery placement as part of the course.

My Availability
I am currently working for a wonderful family looking after a baby girl who was 4 months at the start of employment. At present I am available 2 days a week and when my position with them finishes in November, I will be available 3 to 4 days a week. I am looking for a part time role working between 2 to 4 days a week.
I know how daunting it can be leaving your precious little one with a stranger but I can assure you they are in safe hands. Night Nanny: From 7pm to 7am flat rate of £250.00 per night ~ Twins £350.00 per night.

Lauretta recently looked after my 7months old daughter during a few weeks while I returned to full time work (from home and the office) and I am very grateful for the support she provided. She was always punctual and reliable, and very gentle and sweet with my girl. Lauretta also looked into children’s classes and play activities, and took her out regularly. My daughter seemed to always be happy to see Lauretta in the mornings, and got quite attached, so I would gladly recommend her.

Lauretta has been looking after my 6 month old baby on a part-time basis, and has been an absolute pleasure to work with! As a first time mother, I was nervous about leaving my daughter in the care of someone else. Lauretta's gentle style and desire to learn about how we do things at home quickly put me at ease, and my daughter loves her one-on-one time with her. She is an asset to any family, and is punctual, reliable and conscientious. She also takes both the practical and academic side of her job seriously -- not only does she have on-the-job experience, she is also keen to continually enhance her knowledge of childcare through continuing education programs. I have no reservations about recommending her to other families seeking a nanny.

Overall
Lauretta worked for two months since last November, when we needed short
notice and ad-hoc childcare for our 11 month old son. I had heard wonderful words about Lauretta
from her previous employers and when we met her we also felt that she was a great fit for looking
after our young son. Our baby boy liked her immediately and he always had a wonderful time with her.
Lauretta is kind, caring, fun and gentle with babies and she is able to calm our baby in all sorts of
situations. Our son has a great time with her whether playing on the floor at home or going to the
park. She is also very punctual and flexible when we need last-minute or short notice care, which is
greatly appreciated. Our son is in full time nursery now but we are still very much in touch with Lauretta and she babysits our son whenever we need extra childcare.
