We have used Rachel for a few months now. She is tutoring KS3,moving into GCSE,for Chemistry,maths and physics. She is excellent. Her personality is unobtrusive in a home/family setting,she is attentive,polite,efficient and punctual.
Rachels main area of study is chemistry but do bear in mind that should you want a tutor for maths and physics at GCSE or KS3 levels (We don't do A level yet),these subjects are still very fresh in the minds of people that achieved A levels in these subjects,which may make them comparable to much more experienced tutors in terms of results,particularly if the rapport with your child is good,which in Rachel's case,it is.
I am unaware of any of the other subjects that she could tutor,or at what level as I haven't asked but there may be some.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for either tutoring,or childcare.
Overall
George is an absolutely excellent,no nonsense,STEM tutor. He is both practical and intuitive. I can't really imagine a situation in which he wouldn't be able to help your child improve academically. He is very good in a domestic/family setting. He is unobtrusive,polite and appropriate at all times.
