The best nanny we could ask for

We couldn't be happier to have chosen Maite as nanny to our little one (currently 13 months old). Maite knew from the very first moment how to make our son feel comfortable, happy, and at ease around her. She has even given us tips on how to improve our son's sleeping patterns and routines - which worked marvels. Maite is very professional and is highly skilled on children development, medical routines, weaning, etc. But most importantly, she loves being with children and taking care of them. You can feel how much she loves and enjoys her job. We can't recommend Maite enough.

Superb Nanny for our baby

This is a reference to highly recommend Maite Beltran for Nanny and babysitting roles. Maite was a Nanny for our son, working 3 days a week and caring for our baby from 4 months old to 10 months. (Feb - Jul 2022)

This was our first time using a Nanny. Immediately Maite put us at ease due to her kind attitude, sharing past experiences, her knowledge and practical ways that she would support us. She immediately bonded with our baby, putting us at further ease.

A couple of things Maite did helping us:
-Found fun local activities for the baby to do, inside and outside, including playtimes, sensory play through a variety of weather conditions
-Took baby to sensory activities, sometimes with mum as well
-Prepared tasty meals and made sure the baby was well fed, as the baby weaned from bottles, to purees to solid foods.
-Helped organise and clean the play area and baby room
-Gave helpful advice when baby was ill, and helped look after baby, even bring remedies (e.g., nasal saline) from her own house, as it had worked for her (this was a very nice touch)

We would continue to use Maite and are sad we have to stop due to a change of our work circumstances. We will still use her for babysitting due to the attachment she has built with our baby.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have and would highly recommend Maite to look after your children

Absolutely amazing experience! Maite took great care of our 7 months old son for several months. I felt very comfortable leaving my precious child with her for few hours. She’s reliable and she
always being punctual. Definitely going to hire her again if needed.

Wonderful Babysitter

Maite has been looking after our son since September 2021 on a monthly basis, and she built a lovely relationship with him from the very beginning.

She is warm and kind, has a great affinity with children and creates a caring and happy environment; our son is really enjoying staying and playing with her, and we feel confident to leave him in such good hands.

She is always on time, and usually gives us live updates with messages and photos and we really appreciate that.

We highly recommend Maite for babysitting as we found her professional, reliable and proactive.

Great Childcarer

We highly recommend Maite for babysitting, nanny jobs as we found her highly professional, knowledgable, helpful, proactive, reliable and easy to work with. 

Our 1 year old son started a nursery but unfortunately he did not settle so we had to find a quick alternative. The start was not easy: our son was not keen on solids, was anxious when away from parents and had a floating naptime routine. We found Maite who was not put off by this and joined us in this challenge to prepare him for a nursery. 4 months later we rejoined nursery again where he settled easily at the nursery within a week, has been surprising us with portions of solids he can eat and has become more independent exploring life and things around him. 

Maite has been extremely helpful in getting him to eat various solids, helping him to gain weight and get used to napping routine. She took him to playgroups and playgrounds in the area almost every day and gave detailed reports every day about his wellbeing and activities. Maite often proactively suggested ideas either related to his meals or play activities. We would not hesitate to recommend her to other parents. She is great!

Warm and kind nanny

I was looking for an occasional nanny to look after my son and Maite was recommended to me by two friends who were already using her nanny services part time. Their glowing recommendations proved correct and I couldn’t be happier to have found Maite to look after my son.

She has a real affinity with children and won my son over almost instantly. She is very warm and kind - with children and adults alike! She is very interactive with our son and led by what he is interested in. My friend bumped into Maite at a local playground when she was looking after my son and messaged me to say how lovely Maite was and how much fun my son was having with her.

Maite is very responsive and flexible, and when my son was younger I had quite a structured routine for him which she followed to the letter! She is very happy to work with you and your child in whatever way suits you best.

Wonderful nanny

Maite worked with our family, carrying out some temporary part time nannying for our one year old son during November and December 2020. Maite was with us for a few afternoons each week and from the very beginning Luca had a lovely relationship with her. She had such a lovely warm way with him, and her many years of experience clearly showed. I always felt completely confident leaving our son with Maite and whenever she was with him, I knew he’d have a lovely time and be well-cared for and happy.

We were so happy with Maite that I recommended her to work with two of my NCT group and I know that they also have a very high opinion of her. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Maite to other families.

Gentle and responsive care-giver

Maite looked after our son from Jan until June this year for 2 days a week. She was recommended to us by other NCT mums. Our son immediately bonded with Maite and we instantly felt comfortable leaving him in her care. She would take him out everyday to local parks and cooked delicious food for him, which she would batch cook so we could freeze it and use it the rest of the week. I would absolutely recommend Maite as a Nanny and knew she really cared about the well-being of our son.
