About Me
I am currently in my second year of university at Coventry. I am studying 'childhood studies'. I am really enjoying my course, after my degree I plan to do masters and eventually become a primary school teacher. I find working with children extremely rewarding and I understand how important it is for a Childs needs to be met as it promotes a healthy lifestyle and promotes cognitive development. I have completed a paediatric first aid course and have certificate to prove. Furthermore I have use of my own vehicle with a full driving licence.
My Experience
I have worked from children ages 5 months to 5 years old in a local nursery in solihull. I did this for my first year placement. I learnt so many things whilst being on placement, how children interact, how they communicate through play, why children have tantrums and how they love to be socially involved. Moreover, I have personal experience, I have a 10 year old niece and a 9 year old nephew. Throughout my childhood I have been babysitting and raising my niece as her mother was studying to become a nurse. I have picked up on many essentials a child needs as well as understanding 'love' is the most important part in a Childs life. Having a positive mindset hugely impacts children as well, I love communication through play with children and giving them challenges in order to observe their cognitive development and how they perceive things.
My Qualifications
I have my 11 GCSE's, I have a level 3 in Business Admin. As well as having a Level 4 in childhood studies. I am currently completing my level 5 as I am half way through my second year of university.
My Availability
I do have a current job at Dunelm, I work weekends and a Wednesday evening only. I am at universities full day Tuesday. I have ticked my available hours below.
