You have found your DREAM Nanny!
We’ve worked with Beatrice for over 2 years since June 2021. She has primarily looked after our eldest daughter who was 4 when Beatrice joined and is now 6. Beatrice’s normal routine has been from school pickup (3:15pm) until bedtime (8:00pm) but in reality she’s helped us over school holidays, on weekends, overnight to cover for travel and has traveled with us. As she notes, she’s also helped with our youngest daughter helping cover 6pm - 8pm with both kids including dinner, bath and bedtime.
Both of our daughters are ABSOLUTELY obsessed with Beatrice. We would try to keep Beatrice in our family for the rest of eternity but we’re sadly moving from the UK to a different country (and Beatrice has rebuffed our requests to start a new life with us!).
We’ve interviewed over 100 nannies in our time (both through Childcare.co.uk as well as through a range of top nannying agencies) and worked with several and Beatrice stands head and shoulders above the crowd. She is a true gem and a rare find. Anyone who is lucky enough to work with her will undoubtedly wonder how they have managed life thus far without her.
There are many reasons we feel very lucky to have been able to work with Beatrice but one of them is how empathetic, compassionate and emotionally considerate she is. More than this, she clearly has an active interest in emotional well-being and so is able to draw from literature, studies and facts, in addition to her own strong intuition in helping guide the children she works with. Beatrice’s aptitude in these areas has been instrumental in the emotional development of our oldest daughter - very often helping her identify and consider the emotions she’s feeling and then talking through a range of concepts of how to then engage with those emotions.
Beatrice is truly caring, extremely thoughtful, unwaveringly professional and deeply experienced. She has a great sense of humor, a positive outlook, is NEVER on her phone or putting the kids in front of TV, and doesn’t get frazzled. When she is with the kids they are her one and only focus and whether it is arts and crafts, imaginative play, outdoors time, sport, after school activities or learning to cook or bake the kids learn or are engaged the whole time.
We’re so sad to be leaving London and losing Beatrice is a major part of this - whomever is smart enough to snap her up will never regret it.
