About Me
Hello! My name is Habiba, and I have experience in both tutoring and childcare, I’m here to help your child succeed academically and feel well-cared for outside of school hours. This is my first time using the site so more than happy to provide multiple references.
As a dedicated tutor, I offer personalised support in subjects like Maths, Science and Economics for GCSEs, A-levels, IB, and more. Whether your child needs help with homework, exam preparation, homeschooling, or entrance exams I tailor my approach to suit their unique learning style, ensuring they gain confidence and achieve their academic goals.
I have had great success in helping hundreds of students achieve their goals over the last 5 years. In fact, 90% of my students have improved their grades by at least two levels within a few months. With several gaining admission to prestigious schools.
In addition to tutoring, I offer after-school nanny services, providing a safe and nurturing environment for your child while also helping them with their schoolwork. I understand the demands of balancing work and family life, so I’m here to ensure that your child’s afternoons are both productive and enjoyable.
When my schedule allows, I’m also available for occasional babysitting, giving you peace of mind knowing your child is in good hands. I’m flexible and adaptable, ready to meet the needs of your family whether it’s academic support, after-school care, or just an extra pair of hands when you need it.

My Experience
- Homeschooling/Nannying Experience: My most recent position was a homeschooling and nannying job that I held for three years, where I provided daily academic support and care. The student I worked with has since moved abroad, which is why I’m now available to support other families.
- Tutoring Experience: I currently tutor several students, both online and in person, offering personalised lessons in Maths, Science, and Economics from KS1 up to University. I help with everything from homework assistance to exam preparation, and weekly subject tutoring adapting my teaching to each child’s needs.
- Occasional Babysitting: When my schedule permits, I’m available for babysitting, offering reliable care whenever you need it.
- Professional Background: Before focusing on tutoring and childcare, I worked in finance for a couple of years, which gave me a solid grounding in analytical skills and problem-solving. I studied Economics and Data Science, which enhances my ability to help students with more advanced topics in these areas.

We have been incredibly fortunate to have Habiba as our homeschooling teacher and governess for our three kids, who are all at different stages in their schooling and honestly, Habiba’s ability to tailor her teaching to each child’s unique learning style and needs has been a game changer for us.
Our eldest used to struggle with maths, often feeling overwhelmed and discouraged in his very competitive school. Thanks to Habiba’s patient guidance and emotional support, he’s gained so much confidence and actually enjoys the subject now. Habiba was also a huge help in finding the right school for him. She guided us through the whole process, helped him prepare for entrance exams, but also for interviews, and we were thrilled when he secured a spot at our top-choice school. Even now that he's in school, she continues to tutor him full-time outside of school, and it’s made a world of difference.
For our younger two, Habiba has been homeschooling them full-time. She’s created a curriculum that’s perfectly suited to their needs, covering everything from Maths and Science to Humanities and English, and she’s made sure to include lots of creative activities, physical education, and even educational trips. It’s not just about academics with Habiba; she’s also focused on their character development, teaching them discipline, responsibility, and self-motivation.
As parents, we’ve always felt informed and supported. Habiba is fantastic at keeping us updated on the kids' progress and is always ready to adjust her approach to make sure their needs are met. She’s also taken care of their daily schedules, including organising physical activities and extracurriculars, so they’ve always had a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
We are now relocating and I can’t tell you how incredibly sad we are to have to say goodbye to her as our in-person tutor. But thrilled that we’ll be able to continue with her online. The kids have really bonded with Habiba, especially my daughter, who looks up to her as a role model. I can’t imagine anyone else being able to provide the same level of care, dedication, and expertise. Habiba will always be a special part of our children’s lives, and I can’t recommend her highly enough to any family looking for someone who can truly make a difference.
