Vicky is a wonderful childminder and we would recommend her to everybody. When we first visited her setting we knew that her warm and welcoming home would be the right place for our daughter to start full time at 11 months. It's never easy leaving your baby with somebody else but we had complete trust in Vicky and the photos and videos we received throughout the day reassured me that our daughter was always happy and safe.
Vicky has a very professional home setting which is meticulously clean and organised, and every single day is carefully planned out with interesting themes and activities. The range of learning opportunities is vast, with beautiful and imaginative tuff tray activities with different props and materials, to games in the garden with the mud kitchen and balancing on tyres to develop multiple skills. Our daughter's development was always ahead in terms of her age and that is largely thanks to Vicky. From support with potty training and eating to learning manners and vital social skills, Vicky has educated and supported our daughter in so many ways we cannot thank her enough. She is very caring and develops lovely relationships with the children, and we feel very lucky to have found Vicky.
Alongside Vicky and her lovely family, our daughter has made lifelong friends with the other children in the setting and we continue to meet up today. The only reason we left Vicky's was due to moving away, and giving up our daughter's place at Vicky's was the hardest part of moving. As soon as Vicky knew we were moving she made every effort to prepare our daughter for the step up to pre-school which we are very grateful for. We miss her very much and cannot recommend her enough.
