My Requirements
I’m looking for a reliable carer to assist with my two children in the afternoons. The details are as follows:
Children's Details: I have a 4-year-old daughter in Reception and a 7-year-old son in Year 3.
School Pickup: The carer would need to pick them up from St Peter's School in South Weald, Brentwood at 3:00 pm and bring them home safely.
After-School Care:Snack/Meal: Provide them with a light snack or meal after arriving home.
Homework Assistance: For my 7-year-old son: He usually comes home with a couple of storybooks from school, which he is expected to read over the course of the week. I would like the carer to sit with him after he’s eaten and have him read the books aloud. The carer should then discuss the story with him, encouraging him to talk about what he learned to reinforce his understanding, which will help him narrate and discuss the story with his teacher the following week.
For my 4-year-old daughter: She will have materials focused on reading and writing. The carer should assist her with learning to read and blend words, as well as practicing writing the alphabet.
