About Me
Hi I’m Vicki and I am an Ofsted Registered GOOD Childminder for 0-5 year olds. I live in Martlesham Heath with my Husband, our two children and our two very friendly chug dogs.
I am very keen on making sure that your child feels welcomed and settled here and enjoys their learning with me.
I am currently doing a 'Hygge in the Early Years Accreditation'. We enjoy getting outside and learning about Nature etc, embracing all weathers and having lots of fun while learning.
I am paediatric first aid trained and also have food hygiene and food and nutrition qualifications as well.
I am registered to offer funded places for 2,3 and 4 year olds and I am signed up to the tax free childcare scheme too.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for the last 2 and a half years. I have recently had my first Ofsted graded inspection and I received a Good grading.
I have qualifications in childcare, I am paediatric first aid trained and also have food hygiene and food and nutrition qualifications as well.
I am also a mum to a 3 year old
My Qualifications
Introductory training course to childcare (Ofsted recognised) - this training included the following areas - Understanding and working with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Recording Children’s Development, Safeguarding Children, Developing Children’s Learning and Leading and Managing a Childminding Setting.
I am also Paediatric First Aid Level 3 trained.
NCFE L2 Understanding Mental Health in the Early Years
I also hold certificates for Food Hygiene and Food and Nutrition
My Availability
I offer childcare both term time and during school holidays from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
I am currently full however please still contact me if you would like to be added to my waiting list. My next available spaces at the moment are September 2025.
