About Me
I’m a 26 year old psychology graduate with 5 years of experience caring for individuals with SEN From the age of 4-25. I love supporting children and seeing them thrive in fun and engaging environments. I understand how challenging it can be finding the right person to care for your children and respect how important it is that I form a positive and trusting relationship with you as well as your children. I have a 9 month old daughter I adore and can fully relate to how important it is to find the right person to care for your children. My DBS is out of date but I am willing to have one done when a position becomes available.
My Experience
I have over 7 years of experience working with children. 5 of these years include working in both primary and secondary SEN schools as a learning support assistant and a therapy assistant so I have a good understanding of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. I have also been a carer for a young adult with Angelmans syndrome, including a 10 day stay in the family home providing around the clock care.
My Qualifications
Bachelor or Science- Psychology 2:1 (Second Class Honours)
My Availability
I am hoping to work 3 days a week but can be flexible and may be able to work extra days/ weekends occasionally.
