I have known Jill for over 3 years now, meeting her when she showed me around the nursery that she managed, which my daughter then attended for over 2 years. She and my daughter wer close and we revisited the nursery to say hello when my daughter left. I found Jill to be very professional in her dealings with me and my daughter. She was reliable, friendly, informative, careing and excellent at what she did - as proven by her outstanding Ofsted achievement.

When it was time for my son to attend nursery, as Jill was no longer there, I sent him to her as a childminder on the days that I worked. He loved being there. It was his home from home and he calls Jill "Aunty Jill". When I returned at the end of the day, he used to look a bit disappointed at my appearance having had such a wonderful day with Jill. The book that she did for me about what she and my son got up to in my absence showed me why! Trips to the library, to feed the ducks, to the childminding group, artwork, meals eaten, toys played with and so on and so on. Had my work been more permanent, he would still be there. Jill's household is like part of our extended family and Jill is now a friend. When my son presented with special needs, she was absolutely there for me, dispensing excellent advice and comfort in equal measures.

An old employer of mine once said the key to being able to work, was to have good childcare. I had superb childcare in Jill. If you get the opportunity to send your child to her, take it and rest easy. Your son or daughter will be a very lucky child.
