About Me
Hello!
I’m Hannah and i’m a recent Childhood Development and Playwork graduate from Leeds Beckett University! I have now moved back home to Rugby and i’m looking for ad-hoc or more full time childcare work!
I’ve completed many Placements as part of my degree in lots of settings- hospitals, forest schools, nurseries and more! I experience with both Teenagers and Children. I am also currently employed with Rugby Council working in a play based role, and regularly work with Play based charities in and around the midlands providing free play opportunities to children and families.
Outside of childcare I love spending time with my dog Daisy (she’s a cutie!) as well as a good bit of colouring and craft.
My Experience
I have experience with a range of ages both formally and not, with my most recent experience being a role within the local council proving play opportunities to local schools and community centres.
I was also lucky enough to be a camp counsellor for a group of 8 year olds in a summer camp in the USA in 2022, a job i absolutely loved! I had also applied for an Au Pair year and had a place secured in 2020 but this was unfortunately cancelled because of COVID :(
As well as this, i’ve completed 2 formal placements with university in hospitals, working with children aged 0-18 and then solely teenagers, an age range which i absolutely love working with!!
Informally, i’ve been babysitting for neighbours and friends since I was 14 so have lots of experience with putting the children to bed, school runs and tea time!!
