GREAT COMMUNICATION!

We Recently joined back with Anna Childminding after getting my full time job placement.

Im Very grateful for all the help with obtaining the 15 hours free funded childcare, where a few childcare providers did not want to help me Nisha and the staff went above and beyond what they were expected to do and communicated with me the entire time!

My Harry absolutely loves it at Anna Childminding. I did also enrol my child in a nursery when away but he was not receiving the same one to one care that he was offered at Anna Childminding.

My son has had speech difficulties in the past but has over come them being at Anna childminding, he has gained alot more confidence.
Nisha has spent extra time on specific activities as well as outings to the local playgroup and park which he loves!

Disappointed

I genuinely thought everything was going well and I had found the right childminder for my daughter. I booked an appointment to go see Nisha in her childminding setting, After agreeing to the date she changed it a couple days before and asked if its necessary my husband to attend. I was baffled she even questioned this, I was quite confused to be very honest. Regardless of this, I visited without my husband and liked most aspects of the environment and the space she had created for the children. She came across eager to accommodate the hours and days I required and even text saying to take my time and there was no rush in deciding. Some time after, I had contacted Nisha to say we were happy to go ahead and would like to arrange to come again with my Husband this time as he wanted to view the setting and finalise/set everything in place ready for our daughter to attend (baring in mind we were coming from a different city) - Nisha said we could come on a Friday evening. However after this time is where she became a problem! She was constantly saying different things. First she said we could attend on the Friday however a few days later she said because I hadn't paid a deposit on the first visit, I wouldn't be able to come again with my husband. She never mentioned a deposit on the first visit!! She also text me to say she cannot accommodate the place for my daughter anymore, however when I rang her shortly after, she said if I pay a deposit by the same evening, I would be able to secure my daughters place and she could accommodate my days and times needed. It was as if she was trying to tie me into a contract. And then she went back on her word literally 2 minutes after this phone call, she text me to say she can no longer give my daughter a place. Nisha absolutely baffled and phased me with her dishonest communication. One minute she was saying one thing and then next minute something else. She played me around - this how she left me feeling!! It was absolutely awful especially since she knew how much I was struggling to find a childminder who could accommodate to the hours I needed. She made me believe I had secured a place for my daughter for a while and then rejected me weeks later. If she couldn't do it in the beginning she should have mentioned this and not wasted my time. I would never think to leave a negative review of anyone neither have I ever done so but because Nisha was so temperamental in her communication and played me like the back of my shoe, I would think it's only right to voice what I experienced so that others are also aware.

I am very sorry you feel this way.
As I pride myself on my abilities to communicate with parents even on the weekends.
I provide one to one care for the children in my setting. As i explained in our initial meeting, I am very flexible on timings and love to work with parents as I understand people have individual work schedules.
In our meeting and subsequent correspondence you have not expressed any concerns about the issues you have raised above
only the price of which you repeatedly suggested of £4 per hour unfortunately this is not possible for me.
I do hope you find a placement in the future.

Great service

Lovely setting: Anna Childminding. Although it's a small room, it has a wide range of toys, books, etc., in new or perfect conditions. Also has an exterior space with a slide, cars, for children enjoying playing outside in good weather.
My little one created a personal relationship with Nisha, I could tell how much she liked her when she attended the setting, like a family member. Nisha was always very patient, kind, and with a warm approach to the children, creating meaningful activities, playing with them. Nisha is a very organised person, professional, and dedicated.
Communicated all information needed and always had the attention of sending some pictures of my girl at some point of the day.
Nisha also always answers texts in a short period of time, even after work and during weekends. Very flexible on the care needs, dropping off and picking up if needed.
My little one developed social and motor skills and loved the time spent with her and with other kids in the setting. Absolutely recommend.

Excellent childminder

My son harry had been very well settled in Anna childminding and I had been given feedback on Harry’s everyday activities,
Going on outdoor trips, overall very good communication.
